This company installed my geyser supposedly within compliance standards Turns out the ****nal R7k short on compliance of any kind. They broke a hole in my ceiling which they failed to report and promised me a compliance geyser The are a circus.

What an experience to deal with them! I would not even give them the one star! Its been a fight for 2 days for them to install a geyser, insisting I need to pay the excess before they will commence work. I told them "what if there is a problem, then I have paid you already, how do I know they going to resolve the matter? We will sort it out immediately!' The geyser was only leaking, it was still warming water and working perfectly in that regard. Well I am sitting without a drop of hot water, because their plumber blew the fuse on my electrical box because he change the direction of the wiring - then want to blame a timer that does not work and is not even connected to anything more than 5 years. Then when I get hold of their after hour number, the lady slams the phone down in my husbands ear. The manager called me, I think her name is Jacky (not 100%) ensures me she has personally called our insurance and told them to send and electrician out. Well that not happening but they sure where fast to collect their money! I am really very disappointed in the service delivery I received, definitely will not be referring them to anyone. I have a child at home with ear infection and he had to shower in ice cold water. They are all comfy in their homes with nice working hot water. really pathetic! I cannot see how they managed to get onto the bank insurance panel!!!!!

3-4 weeks ago Just Domestic Plumbers came to install our geyser (Absa insurance claim). The geyser was installed but the job remains uncompleted as they had to come back the Monday(the geyser was installed on a Thursday and Eid was the next day Friday). Well after several telephone calls and emails which we had no response to we are still waiting to have the job completed. The overflow pipe needs to be done and the plumber told us they do not do core drilling and will have to get someone else to come finish the job. My husband showed the plumber the Thursday when they were at our house where the overflow pipe must go and that it does not require core drilling. Still no response from them, Absa or Erika Williams who was assigned to this claim. My garage is in a mess with everything that came down from the deck in garage(this is where the geyser was) and I cannot pack everything back until the job is done! Erika Williams guy came to inspect the structual damages but no one came to take note of other damages caused by burst geyser. I have emailed Absa because getting through to their call centre is a nightmare and they responded to say they still investigating!!!!!!!! What are you still investigating when it is clear that the overflow pipe needs to be installed. JUST DOMESTIC I WILL NOT RECOMMEND !!!!!!!!

Domestic industries 28 Peter Rd, Springfield Park, Durban, 4091 had installed my geyser in August of 2019. Due to shoddy workmanship the geyser began to 'fall' literally moving away from the wall. I have called this company approximately 36 times in 10 months asking it be sorted and to this date nothing. Finally my managing agent has sorted out the issue with a different service provider. Domestic industries after sales services are poor to non exist ant at best.
