The service I received from Dental Risk was extremely disappointing. The consultant I spoke to was nonchalant and made me feel like I was bothering her. She had no patience in explaining things clearly, and her tone was unprofessional throughout. I know what good customer service sounds like, and this was the exact opposite. The lady I spoke to Simonia (or whoever she is) left me questioning how someone with that attitude represents a business. I truly hope the company addresses this. 2025112626200057

Zero effort on customer service, contacted enquiries@dentalrisk.com on a policy question as a customer interested in joining a detail insurance. I received a weird cryptic email telling me to relay my query as "this" and contact the 3rd party service provider for further assistance. I'm so glad I rejected AGS Health's dental insurance. I had a feeling there is a load of ******* in this.

I cannot believe that I get told on several occasions I am older than 7 years and is being refused authorization for a procedure and I quote unquote from the motivation: The duration and the nature of the procedure is prohibitive for work under local anesthetic. How in human can you be! And the meantime I am deteriorating. All that is nice is taking my +/- R14,000 monthly and in the meantime I am getting worse. Surely the doctor is not requesting cause he sees some fun, the risks are way to big to do any of this procedure in the rooms!!!!!! My goodness! I am disgusted!!!! Please find time to read your vision or mission statement, it should really read as "We do not care"

Wish a -5* was available. I am totally disgusted in your services I received this morning when I called, spoke to Em**y. Please practice one of your missions as you say "Compassion & respect for people" Wow! your consultants really need to be reminded of this than to advise me that I have no dental limits! And my procedure must be paid cash as I am older than 7 years old. No asking the background or reasons. I have not created the problem I am experiencing right now. Now to avoid any risks I need to be treated with very much with caution. Just think it is absurd how your consultants work, please give them training.

Tried to get a pre-auth for a tooth extraction for days now. Pre-auth request emails acknowledged 11 Jul 2023 at 11:45 but not answered. No use trying to phone their call center, although friendly the personnel are not able to answer or help with anything besides reciting pre-written scripts in bored sounding voices. "24 to 48 hours response time". That 48 hours has come and gone, and my appointment is tomorrow morning. Will have to pay cash it seems to rid myself of extreme dental pain.
