Toni Strydom Dreamvile Properties Agent
I honestly cannot recommend Toni enough! I’ve been working with her for years, and she has successfully placed me in two beautiful apartments — the most recent one being my new home that I’ve just moved into. From start to finish, her service is nothing short of exceptional. She is always willing to help in any way possible, no matter how big or small the request. Her response time is impressive, her communication is clear and consistent, and she is always punctual for appointments — which I truly appreciate. The entire process is seamless and efficient. Paperwork is handled smoothly, viewings are detailed and pleasant, and she makes what can often be a stressful experience feel easy and exciting instead. You can genuinely tell that she cares about her clients and wants the best for them. Thank you, Toni, for your professionalism, dedication, and amazing service over the years. A Necessary Warning to Landlords and Tenants
I am writing this review from my unique perspective as Ofentse Segone, a former Rental Manager at Dreamville Properties. My intent is not to complain, but to provide a necessary caution to both landlords and tenants considering engaging with this company. I worked closely with the owner from January 2020 and witnessed the company's growth. A core principle I always upheld was ensuring tenants received their deposits back promptly and fairly, based on legitimate inspection reports. However, in January 2024, I discovered a serious issue after being contacted by numerous former tenants who had not received their deposits. Upon investigating the trust account, I found that over R100,000 belonging to my former tenants was missing. When I confronted the owner, Mr. Nkabinde, he admitted to using these deposit funds to cover company debts, acknowledging he was aware this constitutes *****. Trust account funds are legally required to be held in trust for tenants and cannot be used for operational expenses. I agreed to remain with the company on the condition that all affected tenants be repaid in full and that he take full responsibility. Despite this agreement, I was retrenched three months later, citing financial strain—a puzzling claim given the commission-based remuneration structure. Since my departure, I have learned that the company's practices have not improved. Landlords were not informed of the management change, and my former portfolios were redistributed internally. I continue to receive messages from tenants as recent as this week who moved out over a year ago and have still not received their deposits. Landlords are, from my understanding, given misleading information and can experience late rental payments, as funds appear to be mismanaged. Potential clients should also be aware that key administrative contacts, such as the purported admin person Zama Mdluli, seem to be inaccessible by phone and may not exist, creating a serious lack of transparency. Based on my direct experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Dreamville Properties. I advise all potential landlords and tenants to exercise extreme caution and ensure they receive absolute clarity on how their funds will be handled before entering into any agreement. He is now giving me the run around regarding my deposit first told me the notice was too short HOW as notice lwas sent 27 November informing him end of December I am moving out. Now he says his agent left how does that concern me? I am lodging a complaint with Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority and will be going to small claims court for my deposit he will not get away with this. DO NOT USE DREAMVILLE PROPERTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unhappy tenant
Bad service, Worst, Worst service! Recently moved in to their place I found a bin is still full, stove not working, ddnt paint the house for a new tenant still smell cigarettes in that house, gate remote not working they kept quiet until I asked, you ask everyday but no change they pretend as if they ddnt know all the stuff when you complain they intimidate you

I recently inquired about a property viewing, but the experience over the phone with an agent by the name Precious Nkabinde was so unpleasant that I decided not to proceed. Her attitude was unhelpful as if she is doing me a favour 😂her time was very patronising as well! She has bad manners, is rude and unwelcoming. Didn’t even bother proceeding with her and viewing the property was appalled by her behaviour over the phone and it left a very negative impression of her and the agency. I will never forget that name PRECIOUS NKABINDE.

Poorest Services
If there was an option to give 0 stars, I would have opted for that. I have received the poorest of services from this agency. The agent (Ofentse Segone) never answers calls and he takes forever to revert. The agency itself does not seem to care for its clients. I didn't know that where I live now, there is a problem with ****roaches. I informed the agent to resolve the issue, it has been more than two years and he has not gotten back to me concerning the issue. He doesn't send the water bill on time anymore, I have to call the service provider to give me the amount and the reference (since they can't send me the water bill because I'm not the owner). An unsettled water bill blocks the recharging of the electricity. I always inform the agent but he takes his sweet time, everytime, to get back to me. The agency does not answer calls. And I have to live without electricity and water. I also recently discovered that the contract is yearly, and the agent allowed me to sign a 3 year contract without informing me that it is only yearly. When I wanted to cancel the contract, I was told to pay 3 months worth of rent so that the lease is terminated. The services are just the poorest and I would never advice anyone to go on with this agency. It’s disappointing because I honestly expected better service.

POOREST SERVICE BY DREAMVILLE PROPERTIES
Worst Estate agency to deal with. They refuse to refund my deposit after vacating the property they managing, They send me invoice saying that they charging me interest on late payment that I don't know about and they also mentioned that they charged me for eviction fees which i don't know about because i got the invoice after vacating the apartment and i am suppose to receive my deposit back. They went as far as debiting my account on the last day of my notice period. What a **** service!!!!!!!!!!

They refuse to refund my deposit after vacating the property they managing, They send me invoice saying that they charging me interest on late payment that I don't know about and they also mentioned that they charged me for eviction fees which i don't know about because i got the invoice after vacating the apartment and i am suppose to receive my deposit back.
