Very disappointed in the service... Bought a Mahindra kuv 100 last week Wednesday.... Test drive the car the salesman Dylan was sitting next to me clutch was slipping he didn't offer to fix he rather said take the car and if it continues he will discuss it with his manager. Ever when the driver reversed the car in the delivery bay he burn the clutch so badly that you can smell it. Only thing Dylan was saying if it's continue doing it he will speak to his manager. I had to travel back to KZN and he knew it but still saying if it's continuing he will speak to his manager. Eversince I left the dealship I send him voice notes to say clutch still doing it and I have to drop gears the hole time... He still said the same thing. I took the car to our Mahindra on Monday to check they confirmed clutch is gone.. Eversince Monday I'm only hear lost of stories about the quote and still no payment done to fix the car,and when you send messages he take hours to reply but when I was enquired about the car the blue tix was not ever properly blue then he rep****.. Very poor service they maybe thought because we in KZN they will get away...

Avoid Driver1. They sell cars with suspicious repaint jobs and masking tape over the manufacturer stickers in the door jamb. They sell cars with mechanical issues that they never disclose and then gaslight you into believing it is your fault for buying a "cheap bargain". They make promises that they don't keep. They have endless excuses. They sell you cars without the primary key/remote. They claim a car has "one owner" when the car was in fact used by a sister company as a rental. Save yourself headaches and go elsewhere for your next car.

I purchased a 2014 Mercedes-Benz C220d (VIN: WDD**********R011737) from Driver1/SA Motocorp in Randburg for R269,950, and it has been an absolute nightmare. Within an hour after they fitted the defective turbo, the car suffered catastrophic engine failure. The dealer claimed it had been “tested” just two days before — a clear misrepresentation. After paying nearly R270,000 cash, I was offered a disrespectful R120,000 refund, despite admitting the car was defective. I invoked my rights under the Consumer Protection Act: Section 56: The defect occurred within the 6-month imp**** warranty period. Section 55(2)(c): The vehicle was clearly not fit for purpose. Section 41(1): Misrepresentation was involved. Instead of resolving this, they’ve been evasive, offered unfair alternatives, and now want to repossess a loan car they gave me for temporary mobility — knowing I still haven’t been refunded. I've already filed a formal complaint with MIOSA and will escalate to the National Consumer Commission (NCC). I'm also preparing to expose this through consumer watchdogs and social media. I urge Mercedes-Benz South Africa and the public to take notice: This is how this dealership treats customers who pay full price in good faith. Do NOT trust this dealership unless you’re ready to lose your money, fight for your rights, and be ignored when problems arise.

I bought a vehicle from this garage, and the first impression was amazing. They were helpful and got my finance approved quite fast. Then it came to the registration of the vehicle, and the permit and licensing of the vehicle, and this is where I realized that the after sales for this company is quite horrifying. We were asked if the license etc can be delivered, which we agreed upon, as the address for delivery is quite close to them. I also asked for a spare key. I was told that was no spare key, however they will give me a one that will be made for the vehicle. Needless to say, this key was not delivered as promised by them, and they did not even order a new set of number plates. The only thing that delivered, after numerous back-and-forth with them as to where to deliver, was the license disc. This means that they paid a courier just to deliver an A4 size piece of paper. Another thing I asked them, was to send new wiper blades as well, as the existing wiper blades that was on the vehicle, was really in a bad shape. You cannot see anything when you put the wipers on, as they left streaks of water on the windscreen, and yes, this was also not supp**** or delivered. Then you need to start wondering how they got the vehicle through inspection with wiper blades that are insufficient. I had to go buy my own, new wiper blades, and had to use the old number plates. O yes, the number plates that was on the vehicle previously, was bent and almost impossible to place back into the number plate holders. I will most probably have to go and buy my own new set of number plates, as I do not think I will hear anything from them. PS; the salesperson, and his manager as sent whatsapps, almost two weeks ago, and I still waiting for a response from one of them. Like I said, very bad after sales from them.

I would like to take this opportunity to commend Rocco Rossouw & Clarence Aronje for excellent customer service. We purchased a vehicle from this dealership and the sale and paperwork was flawless even though we are 200 km apart. Nothing was too much effort on their side. This is a true reflection of caring for your customer. The delivery of the vehicle at the dealership was made very special and memorable with photos and attention to detail
