Dros Rant-en-Dal, good for a beer, useless to dine
Breakfast disaster at Dros Rant-en-Dal! Arrived at 09h50, empty parking, lots of empty tables thinking, yeah, it is holiday season and a lot of people left Gauteng. Error 1, we were given the luch menu...the waiter looked like he had a rough night! We asked for the breakfast menu. Drinks...took 20 minutes, breakfast, well, we have never seen any. The waiter vanished after taking one empty drinks glass never to be seen again for the next HOUR! We went asking what happened to breakfast, a fried egg cannot be that complicated to produce in one hour, merely as Dross Rant-En-Dal was empty at the time of arrival. At 10h55 went to the floor manageress...clueless, standing there like a statue, no emotions, no nothing. Told her am paying for the drinks and off we go. 'What did you order'...nobody had a clue (as the waiter was gone fishing) where, what, who and when. Suddenly, within 5 minutes, the breakfast was there, right next to the cashier, the four plates came out of the kitchen...ICE COLD... the manager apparead out of the kitchen apologizing, offered drink complimentary (thank you, the least you could do). 'Sometimes we get busy for breakfast as we open at 08h00' (empty restaurant on arrival?). In the commotion he said 'your breakfast is already ready'....I rep**** 'already????'. We left a 11h10 to another place in the area for ... lunch. The fault is not the manager/owner, the fault is employing totally *********** staff. A waiter is supposed to be around, a waiter is supposed to follow up where a plated meal is. Pretty certain it was fly food standing there for over an hour. With a high unemployment rate in South Africa and Dros comes up with this kind of poorly trained (or simply a 9 - 5'ver attitude) staff, why bother, rather close down for the holidays or only serves beer as Dros Rant-en-Dal seems only to be able to deliver on that. As a regular customer, no thank you, you won't see me again (not that they care). Sorry, could not add a photo to this comment as we did not have anything to take a photo from ....

Dros vanderbijlpark
So I went to Dros Vanderbijlpark today for my niece’s birthday when I was I’ll treated by a stuff member named David, He was the one catering for our table when I ordered 1 dros combo, ****tail juice and 2 Draughts off which he did not write the order down when we asked he said he knows it by heart sharp, when it was time to serve us he brought 2 dros combos I said to him I ordered one that’s when he started to insult me saying if I didn’t have the money I shouldn’t have ordered and said a mouthful infront of me and my family. Few minutes later I went to report to the manager she laughed and the waiter continued to insult me infront of the manager and the manager said nothing but kept on laughing the second manager came and said am causing a scene ad if ever I want to take the matter further it’s pointless because his still the one who will reply to my email am so disappointed and angry at their treatment because they are unprofessional Poor service 😡😡😡😡wouldn’t recommend to any one

‼️****mers‼️ false advertising.. "Kids eat for free Sundays with any main meal" that's not true the Manager still charged us for 2 kiddies meals. I do have a slip to proof. Your manager Divan has can't communicate with client!! He just kept quite when i questioned the slip and why were we charged we ordered 3 main meal 2 were specials but no where you mentioned the free meals is not with a special on your adverti*****t

Close the dros DOWN for good
I by no choice had to give this piece of ******* a 1 star just to advice people of what a dirty, money hungry owner is that he will allow people to get completly waisted and drive home half able too and getting all random calls to say come collect ur family members or friends. It's disgusting, alcohol is the surest thing to the devil and I don't see legally and just by the grace would this low life establish be kid friendly having their drunk parents take them home. You should be closed done for good 4 bad experiences and I don't drink I must just be the person who sees the worst. How u sleep at night is sickening.

Close the dros DOWN for good
I by no choice had to give this piece of ******* a 1 star just to advice people of what a dirty, money hungry owner is that he will allow people to get completly waisted and drive home half able too and getting all random calls to say come collect ur family members or friends. It's disgusting, alcohol is the surest thing to the devil and I don't see legally and just by the grace would this low life establish be kid friendly having their drunk parents take them home. Cheap cheap quality food!
Good day Today we though it good to get out of our town and do something different so we decided on Dros Vanderbijlpark. Pleasant vibe pleasant service...but the quality of food is shocking! You can still see past the fact that some drinks are not in stock and that its Friday so food would take a bit longer but you do expect a descent meal. We had the cheese grille crusted pizza...be a fan of chess grillers and bacon we evan added a extra bacon...we do love is some pork...but what we got was shocking!! I do understand that turnover needs to be made but i for one wont be back if thats the quality product you want to give to clients. If i wanted a cheese VIENNA i would have gotten it at Checkers...salama tasteless and so crispy it actually hurts your teeth...ontop of the very poor quality bacon...fat and chewy...im really SHOCKED...theres nothing more disgusting than a warm vienna taste!! Not pleasant at all. Im sure it wont change but that is disgusting...theres really better quality products out there that will still let you make what you need to make on it...i rather pay a little ekstra then waist the whole amount on something you did not evan get to enjoy. Really disgusted! With an update contacted head office got no response! Contacted via Facebook got a response still waiting for them to contact me. Its been a week!

Cheap cheap quality food!
Good day Today we though it good to get out of our town and do something different so we decided on Dros Vanderbijlpark. Pleasant vibe pleasant service...but the quality of food is shocking! Terrible food
My wife and I decided on a lazy Sunday afternoon and ordered the 3 course set meal from Dros in Centurion. The calamari was like eating rubber and the batter was falling off, all the chips were soggy and tasted old, the chicken snitchell was super dry and tasted burnt. The veggies was terrible like they just warmed up a frozen batch the T-bone stake was like something you buy next to the road at truck stops nasty and thin.... let me not even speak about the sour smelling and tasting cheese sauce! Super dissatisfied and disappointed I can't believe the quality of the food as we regularly eat at Dros they pride themselves on the steaks but dang the food today I took straight to our security and ordered something else, what a waste of R586!
