Drs Du Buisson Kramer Swart Brouwer has been grossly negligent by divulging sensitive medical and personal data to an entity with whom I have had no connection for 14 years. Despite the fact that I took great care to complete the form with my correct details at the time of getting this bloodwork done, this was ignored. They not only revealed all the details of my blood tests to this entity, they revealed my health status, plus they made him the guarantor for the account and revealed his personal details, including his home address. This is a serious contravention of the POPI Act with potentially far-reaching negative consequences. They then have the audacity to send me a threatening legal letter to pay an outstanding account that was sent to the wrong recipient in the first place.

You are day light ******* Lab, you are unprofessional quick to send peoples account to your lawyers before thorough info with your clients. USELESS AS YOU ARE AND NOT EVEN RESPONDING ON THE BAD REVIEWS YOU GET. My medical aid payed you last year and month to month I receive SMS's and calls from this company. I am not gonna succumb to your incompetency more especially your account department. DO BETTER WITH YOUR CLIENT AND STOP BEING QUICK TO SEND ACCOUNTS THAT ARE PAID TO YOUR DEBT COLLECTERS. IS SICKING YOUR EXTABLISHMENT MUST HIRE COMPITED ACC EMPLOYEES.

Good Day. Please be aware when dealing with this lab. My mum went to them in 2022. They charged he R 2000 for a full blood count test. She paid them in full. I then began receiving messages from them saying I'm owing them in excess of R2000. I ignored it and hoped that they would find their mistake. But they continued sending me messages. When my mum needed blood tests again., they refused to help her until the account was cleared we paid whatever was owing and she did her tests and we paid cash for those. Now recently, I'm again receiving msgs from collection agents saying that they are having me blacklisted. I called them and they maintain that I am still owing them money. I refuse to settle this account for the third time.

💥BWARE! I had an “emergency” hysterectomy by Dr Du Buisson. Now it turns out that it wasn’t necessary. I suspect he just wanted to bill my medical aid for gain. I never realised doctors did such things - now I’m led to believe it’s relatively common practice by some docs. Before undergoing ANY surgery with this Doc, do yourself a favour and get a second opinion from a gynae not linked with the hospital.

My Mother is on her Son in Law's medical aid. She is a pentioner with a very small Pension. She made an arrangement with This Company to pay them off monthly on a total amount of R1500. This after she went to them to ask discount, which they said sorry, she should have mentioned she is a pensioner the day she got the blood tests. Then she made an arrangement with them to pay them off each month R400. She paid on the 6th of June, then the 22nd of July then again today. The Lady "LULU" 0126781058 Phones my Mom at 7;00 in the morning saying they going to hand her over because she ony made 1 payment. My Mother in shock and rattling being called awake that early with news like that. This is in any persons book not okay to phone an older person that early. Which then I phoned them. Lulu's reaction is, "Well I start working at 7" I am sorry, i dont care who you are, you should have your facts straight and you should be more respective than this. But it doesnt matter. And i am not getting into the treats she makes towards my mom of handing her over and calling her son in law. This is really unproffesional. I dont care who you are. If we dont stand up for the elderly, who will?

Laboratories My mum was admitted in hospital and had bloods done. The bloods were repeated by the doctor more than once. Medical aid does not cover repeated bloods test. As a patient, when you sign in to hospital , you sign a form indicating that if medical aid doesn’t fully cover , you will be liable. That understanding is ok. But when the laboratory knows that medical aid is not going to cover for repeated test on same day, shouldn’t it be their responsibility to recheck with the patient as to who will cover these cost. I have been calling several times Ampath since January 2024 for bloods taken in December. I was told that they will be motivating with medical aid that the blood had to repeated. I should leave it to them. Which I did. Yesterday I get a call, not informing me on the progress but demanding payment. I mean demanding payment. So I ask for the progress. And ask why the patient is not told that repeated bloods will not be paid. The answer I got is that the patient signed a legally binding document on admission. Guys watch out practices like this. NHI , please come sooner so this infringement on patients right to medical care is sorted. Laboratory like this will not abuse patients.
