I'm a regular customer at Dry Clean City but recently when I took my clothes in to get washed two of my items never returned (blue jean shirt + black dress that's open at the back). I have made numerous attempts to get them back but all I get told by the staff is that they are still looking . Each time I call this is the response I get just so I can stop calling and enquiring about my missing/stolen clothes .

Just the other day they had mistakenly put someone else's shorts into my laundry and I brought them back to Dry Clean City. There is lack of management in that company and sense of urgency . I still haven't been contacted by management and all I want are my items of clothes.

My carpet was taken for dry cleaning on the 25th of January 2016 and collected on the 1st of Feb. Carpet's colours have run and discoloured the white edging. The 'good people' at dry clean city did not notify us of the damage at pick-up and hence this was only discovered on returning home and opening the plastic packaging it was wrapped in. They have a disclaimer absolving them of responsibility on their receipt. Still pretty shameful for a service costing almost R800.

This incident has now been going on for nearly a year.

In July/August 2014, I sent a pair of shoes that I had purchased from Nicci Boutiques for R400 on sale in for re-soling at Dry Clean City, Blairgowrie Plaza. My mother attempted several times to collect the shoes, only to be told that they had not yet been serviced. Finally, about 2 months later, it was discovered that Dry Clean City no longer even HAD my shoes, and had supposedly given them to another customer by accident (truthfully, I suspect they were stolen by a member of staff - what customer just takes another's shoes?. After several phone calls and e-mails between my mother and the manager, Charlene Karolus, we eventually received a letter dated 27 October 2014 stating \We would like to apologise for the unfortunate incident and inconvenience caused in any way... want to assure you that this incident wasn't due to negligence. This gesture is not an admittance of negligence

I have just had a nasty experience at Dry Clean City in Bryanston in the Riverside shopping centre . I took two jackets to be dry cleaned. When I got them back they were damaged. It looked as though the jackets had been ironed. The collars and all the seems are shiny. After a lot of back and forth the owner then told me that it is the fault of the Shop where I bought the jackets. Never mind the fact that I have dry cleaned one of the jackets before with no problems. She didn't even offer to reimburse me for the dry cleaning or offer any apology. I was so shocked at her attitude and the fact that she couldn't be bothered about her customers.
