Please people, don't ever buy a car at Durbel Auto. You will be sorry. Rather take your money and burn it, that will be a cheaper option. I purchased an A3 audi TFSI from them. There were problems with the vehicle that they were supposed to sort out, but never did before I signed for the vehicle. It was then in and out of there "so called" mechinics which was Heystadt Motors which is a bunch of CLOWNS. They overfilled the oil in the engine by more than 2 litres and couldn't sort out the EPC issue, which I then took to one of my friends that owns his own place. He found the problem which I relayed to the dealership owner, Riko. Before that, Haystadt Motors was telling me that the turbo actuator is faulty. I then took it apon myself to go buy one, which they fitted and then told me that it is also faulty( this part was bought new at a revowned retailer that specializes in vw parts), so i went to Barons and bought a genuine part that also did not solve the problem. So that exercise cost me over R3000, which they are refusing to refund unless I give them the new vw part and put the old one back on my car, which i refuse to do. Then, the real problem, the turbo waste gate housing was worn(thats why the EPC light was on). After weeks of back and forward and them trying to find the cheapest way of repairing it, They get their BACK YARD mechanic to sort the problem out at my premises(dont think he has a workshop). Again the vehicle is standing for over 2 weeks. By this point I owned the vehicle for 3 months and had only driven it for about 2 weeks. They refuse to give a lone vehicle, so I and my bussiness had to suffer this inexcuseable affair. There back yard mechanic eventually abandoned my vehicle, not after he broke the high pressure fuel pump, which I also had to buy and finish the vehicle off myself. Now they are saying I broke the fuel pump and refuse to refund me the R6300 it cost me. I can go on and on, But please read this review and spend your money somewhere else. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE AT DURBELL AUTO. Riko, the owner is the worst person to deal with. These were only a few of the faults that had to be sorted out on the vehicle.

Wish I could give them 0 stars. They are utterly pathetic and are very very rude to their customers once the deal has gone through with the bank. The owner is also extremely rude and does not care about his customers. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They lie about everything.

If I Could add no stars, I would. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THEM! They Sold my friend a car. She made it less than 8km from the dealership when the car's engine shut off while she was driving. Not only did this put her in danger, but also other travelers. She requested a refund and cancellation of her purchase. The owner and staff flat-out refused to refund the vehicle and cancel the agreement. They also advised here there is nothing wrong with the vehicle despite their own mechanic saying there is an issue. They then said they sent the car for an evaluation. When calling the referenced business, they had never seen or worked on the vehicle. They are still in possession of the vehicle after collecting it on the side of the road last week after the incident.

They sell broken cars and agree to fix it and when it comes to fixing, they conveniently never knew about it or agreed to fix it. There is also zero communication between the owner and staff. The owner is not a nice man.

Absolutely no regard for customer service. The owner has no issue making a customer constantly follow up about a vehicle part that was promised MONTHS AGO. Careful about buying from Durbell Auto/ Eugene Geldenhuys - as soon as they have your money you can forget about any customer service.
