I had a small accident at the end of Feb/start of March. I logged the claim via the Miway app the day after once I was in an area that had signal. From the start, communication from Miway has been 0. No proactive outreach or updates. I could see via the app my claim was approved. For the sake of keeping this shorter, I won't go through every detail. The MiWay assigned person has not once called me, or sent me a effective informative update despite my countless emails and few questions. When he does respond, he does not answer a single question I had previously asked. Since I logged the claim in the 1st of March, I have had to called in at least 15 times, sent many emails, all simply requesting information and updates. I have been told by an agent my car has been stripped and determined to be a write off (my car was only collect Monday 20 April by a tow company - insurance never even told me they wanted to collect, so it was a surprise to receivea call from a random towing company who has bwen mandated to collect my car), keep in mind no1 has touched by car, so who and when was my car, that is parked at my house stripped... I have all call records of the conflicting information, all mail records of the poor support. As it stands the settlement has not been finalized despite approved, its weeks later, and I feel no clearer on what is happening or what the next steps are. Each time I have asked to speak to a manager to support me, I get told they cannot and one will call me back. All this while still paying them for a service while not receiving anything that resembles a service. This complaint is solely here due to the poor customer service from the assigned person Doctor Mafisa. CS agents have all been helpful and did the best they could, other than the made up or factually incorrect information. So Miway and Doctor Mafisa's poor communication are to that for this along with the drawn out process.
It should not be this hard to cancel a month-to-month contract. After paying the arrears amount, you will be able to cancel. Now I am told again I need to pay for the new month of November. As far as I am concerned, their cancellation process is a ****.
My car has been sitting with Waidler for over a month now for them to pull a report on the car. In the meantime, my insurer is not paying or declining while they wait in Waidler. I was told by the investigator that I would have the report from them within 30 days. They gave me a date being the 1st of Feb 2019 COB I would have the report. It is not the 13th of Feb and I have still not received the report.
On the 11th of December 2018, I was involved in an accident. My car was a write-off while the other involved party was minor to no damages. Today is the 13th of Feb 2019 and to date, I have still not received a final answer from my insurer on whether they are accepting my claim or declining it. My car is currently sitting with a diagnostics company for over 30 days. The insurer has told me that they are waiting on this report which was promised to me by COB Friday the 1st of Feb. This has still not been received. I am stuck without a car. Iwyze has continued to debit me for insurance. At this point, I am paying insurance on a car which is a write-off. This is unacceptable service on Iwyze's behalf. I would strongly suggest anyone wanting to go with IWYZ reconsider their insurer.
