I submitted my vehicle to French Tech Auto, which is an authorised Dotsure workshop, for timing chain repairs. The vehicle was with them for almost 3 weeks before they even provided a quote, which caused a lot of inconvenience. I distinctly explained my warranty plan and additional costs and an agreement was made before I departed the worskshop. I had other options. As soon as the claim was approved by Dotsure the workshop called to ask me about other vehicle issues they failed to diagnose when forwarding the first quote, those issues never existed when I left the vehicle. Anyway after After the insurer approved the repair as per the initial quote , I was then told I need to pay an additional R5,500, despite the fact that the original quotation had already been approved and settled by Dotsure. This feels unfair and not transparent, as I was never told about extra costs upfront. I expect workshops to provide accurate and transparent quotations the first time around, so customers know exactly what to expect. This after-the-fact change has left me feeling misled and taken advantage of.

I had a terrible experience with e-Siyakhokha. They were extremely dishonest, constantly asking for deposits, and even restricting my account, which had over R575,000. I tried reaching out to their customer service, but they were unhelpful and refused to resolve the issue. Thankfully, I got in touch with Mrs. Faina, who took my case seriously. She helped restore my account, and I was able to withdraw everything. I’m now completely done with e-Siyakhokha and would advise others to stay away from them. Horrible! Please stay away! We were forced to use E-Car Centurion by our the company where our extended warranty is. Just to find out later that we could have chosen from hundreds of other companies. (We have never used it before). My thought would be that there is some kond of shady deal, but I cannot make accusations on something that I have no proof of. The 1st time I went to check in on progress I literally started crying because of the state of my vehicle that I pay allot for. My gearbox was left in a parking bay in front of the shop, my bonnet that has decals on that I paid thousands for was put decal side down. There was a oily part on my seat and upon looking for my keys they poured out a large bucket full of car keys on the floor. After receiving my vehicle back I had to return 5 times, parts were left loose, aircon not working etc etc. Now 3 months later the part that I went in for broke again!!!! A new part was ordered from Australia and put in by them. I did not take my vehicle back there even though it has a warranty with them - I just can’t! My trusted mechanic that also is a expert in this vehicle confirmed that the new part was not installed correctly and bolts that are too short was used. Therefore it broke off again. We also paid out of pocket for a turbo recon - but now my trusted mechanic says that he can see that absolutely nothing has been done to the turbo!!! So basically they ****! So after receiving invoices for R40k we not had to pay R10k to fix their mess.

E car sunward park advertised a minor service but didn't specify their terms . They called stating that if i wanted an air filter I must pay for a major service at twice the price . Upon not agreeing to their terms they refused to do work on my car . Very unprofessional

I recently had my car’s engine replaced at e-CAR Menlyn, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received! Good day I took our Car in fod repairs for our Turbo to Dm service (e-car) in Parow 13 Junction street. Our Car was with them for almos 3 weeks. The turbo was fixed and we ard happy with the work. However whe i collected our car the audio did not work anymore. When i dropped the car the audio worked perfectly. When I quiried it with the shop manager. HE TOLD ME THEY DID NOT WORK ON ANY WIRES I MUST TAKE IT UP WITH THE PLACE I BAUGHT THE CAR AT. I was so shocked with the response as I told him but when i left the car the sound was working. He just shrugged me off and sai of they must fix it I will have to pay. Realy after i left my car with them with no audio issues. I am very dissapointed.

I took my car to Centurion Auto Clinic which is an E-car Franchise. My Peugeot 308cc has been in and out of this workshop for almost 24 months. From the very first time until the last time this car was never fixed and I could not drive it. I took the car for inspection by someone else and they told me that the car had been damaged and not repaired. the damage to the car was about R 50 000. The owner of the E-car franchise collected the car and said he would fix it. 4 months later all I got was a still broken car, I could not reach my house and had it towed back home. Since then, the owner has stopped all communication with me. I wrote a letter to the E-Car head office and called them. They said it would take at the most two days to sort out. After a week I still had no contact from the E-Car Head office. Rollen, the person sort of in charge has been on leave or out of the office. He spoke to me once and said that he is very busy but will get back to me I must be patient. Please take note of this unless you also want to be **** to and ignored as well as have beyond economical repair car.
