My wife and I recently returned to Eagle's Nest Wines for a Cheese platter. We had had a great experience late in 2022. This second visit, however, was not great as the platter price had been escalated and it appeared to be considerably less than the previous occasion. (We were both somewhat hungry after the platter) The Waitron acknowledged that prices had been increased substantially. For that price, we would expect better value.

Disappointing experience at Eagles Nest Wines. Arrived at Eagles Nest Wines Sunday 20 November and was greeted by a lovely lady who handed us over to an employee that did not acknowledge us in any way! We followed the employee to a cramped table between other patrons. I advised the employee that I booked a table for 4 on the grass area and requested shade via email in writing. The employee had no interest in what I had to say or what I had booked, the employee advised that is all they have available, and after a bit of back and forth, the employee decided to go to the reception area to check what happened. All the employee came back to say "unfortunately they cannot honor the booking on the grass" the tables on the grass area are only for bigger groups and I have been to Eagles Nest before, and we were 2 people who had a table on the grass as what I had requested. The employee had no interest in finding a solution and shrugged us off and we told the employee we will leave. The employee made no effort to apologize or fix the mess up. The response was "OK" Will never be back at your establishment, we felt dismissed and racially profiled. This employee had a bad attitude and needs training in service and how to handle mess-ups. We are not happy. Waste of time and the UBER ride to get to Eagles Nest. You have tons of competition in the Valley treat all your patrons equally!

We arrived, it took forever to get the attention of an employee, but they were busyish so fair enough. Eventually manage to enquire about wine tasting, after which we were vaguely told to take a seat with no other information on how it worked etc. We confirmed that a seat outside would be fine. Then we proceeded to wait and wait, invisible. Eventually we left wineless and annoyed. We can't comment on the wine because we didn't taste any but by far the worst arrived at a wine farm I've ever been subject to.
