I recently moved to Edgemead recently and our little shopping centre are tops.The Clicjs Crazy store printers Woolues PeP Flower Stall Hsirdresser are all friendly and helpful...had coffee at Vida Café and lived it.ill soon make a visit to the beautician.

Tried to sending the message below on the Eastgate site. It sends me a blocked message. "Do you have a mobile app to find shops around the mall? There is not one active directory board and most shops don't even display their shop number. A nightmare to find the way around for first time visitors to the mall. Really regressive in this day and age." They even more useless than I first thought.

Tried communicating with them via the whatsapp on Facebook. Will there response is extremely poor. Then tried calling and they were not helpful. After posting a negative comment on Facebook they block you. Really If you call to speak to the manager you get told he is not in.

Stay away from game household appliances. I bought a kettle 6 months ago and it stopped working. I took it back they booked it in which will take 21 days for me to get it back. How do you book a kettle because it is an essential i use it everyday so i must go and buy another one because they don't care about their customers anymore. Fridge, microwave etc i understand but a kettle that's very selfish of them. Zero customer service.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an incident that occurred on 17/10/2025 at the Eastgate e-hailing zone. My vehicle was wheel-clamped by your rude security personnel. The clamping appeared to be used as a punitive measure rather than a proper enforcement action. There was no clear signage warning of clamping, and I was not given any prior notice.Shoting Ye BABA! YeBABA... is not an instruction to move my car. No clear instructions was ever given. He was just proving a point. I'm currently waiting for management at control room losing earns. As an active e-hailing driver for Uber, I was parked briefly in the designated zone while attending to a passenger request.

There's are people that are disturbing people while shopping, these people are doing a top up to see if you qualify for some credit facility, they wanted id to see if you qualified, each one will come and pester you, not knowing one whatever they called already spoke to you, so I was annoyed, reported it to manager, I don't go around giving my ID number to anyone, can I be respected for this, Checkers we pick our groceries and pay, I don't need interruption when I'm shopping, please stop getting people to do their marketing inside disturbing shoppers,... If you do entertain them then accommodate us shoppers with cheaper prices, when we shop at woolworths there's no disturbance, Checkers is becoming a total mixed case,

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the service I received at MTN Eastgate from a consultant named Rea. I approached Rea regarding my MTN WiFi router that had stopped working. I gave him both the router and the SIM card so he could check where the problem was. He told me he would book it in with a technician and that it would take 3 to 4 weeks. Over a month passed with no update. My grandmother and I went back to the store to follow up, since we are still being charged every month under the contract. Rea told us to wait another week. When we returned, he said the router was ready for collection. We collected it the same day—but it still didn’t work. I went back the next day and spoke to a different consultant. I explained the whole situation, and he checked the system. He confirmed that Rea never booked the router in or did anything at all. To make matters worse, MTN is now asking us to pay a R575 cancellation fee for the contract—even though Rea didn’t fix the router, and we were misled for over a month while still paying for a service we weren’t receiving. This is completely unacceptable. I am requesting that: • MTN investigates this matter urgently, • The cancellation fee be waived, • We be compensated for the month(s) we paid for a service that was not delivered. I hope this matter will be taken seriously and resolved promptly. Thank you.

Dear Eastgate Shopping Centre Management, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a highly unsatisfactory experience I had at one of the stores in your shopping centre, Computer Den, located at the shopping centre. In November 2024, I purchased a laptop (Brand: Lenovo], from the store. To my disappointment, the laptop has not worked at all since the day of purchase. It fails to turn on or function properly, making it completely unusable. I returned to the store on early in the year January 2025 to report the problem and request a solution since it has a 12 month warrany. However, the staff were unhelpful, dismissive, and showed no willingness to resolve the issue. I was not offered a refund, exchange, or any form of meaningful assistance. I believe this kind of conduct reflects poorly not only on the store but on your shopping centre as a whole, as tenants operate under your management and contribute to the public image of your establishment. We have to engage Ms Namile Modinane and Nondumuso Dube on their emails but to no avail. I respectfully request that you intervene in this matter and assist in ensuring that the store takes responsibility—either by issuing a refund, replacing the defective laptop, or providing proper repairs without further delay or cost to me, my daughter urgently needs this laptop for her studies. I can provide proof of purchase receipt and other relevant documents. I look forward to your urgent attention to this matter, and I hope that appropriate action will be taken to uphold the standards of customer service within your shopping centre.
