My complaint : Dear Ecomed Medical Team, I would like to formally express my disappointment with the after-sales service I have received from Daniel Smit of Ecomed Medical Pty Ltd. Since 26 February, I have been enquiring about purchasing an additional mask and specifically requested pictures of the item to assist with my decision. Unfortunately, I have received no response to date. I followed up again on 13 March with the same request, but once again, my enquiry was ignored. As of today, 17 March, I have still not received any feedback or communication. This lack of response is extremely frustrating and does not reflect the level of service one would expect, especially from a sales representative responsible for client support and product enquiries. I would appreciate it if this matter could be addressed urgently, and that I receive the requested information without further delay.

Ecomed staff in Johannesburg have always gone out of their way in support of my Mother In Law and her COPD diagnosis. Always pleasant, very quick to respond to any queries and very professional. A specific mention has to go to Ian Grobler who services the East Rand in Gauteng. He is always helpful, professional, knoweledgable, answers any question on the Ecomed products and he goes out of his way to support his patients.

The best customer service I have ever received has been from Polly Mndaweni. She goes above and beyond in her work — even waking up at 2am if I reached out about medical issues. She sent me encouraging messages, constantly kept me updated with my claim, and truly cared about my well-being. Her support made a stressful situation so much easier to handle, and I’m deeply grateful for her dedication and compassion.

To whom it may concern I would like to thank Christina Martin for excellent service, when needed. As a COPD patient I need to be on 24/7 oxygen. Every time during an emergency, like Friday 12 July, when Brakpan was without electricity for 22 hours, Christina immediately assist with a refill back up. This assistance helped me to stay at home, throughout the night and only had to go to hospital for oxygen the next morning. Christina is a valuable asset to any firm. I would like to thank her for always going the extra mile with a smile. Regards Ann Strydom

I spoke to a lady called Lynette. Most rude person I ever spoke to. 1. She interrupts constantly 2. No phone etiquette 3. She picks a fight immediately 4. Very unhelpful When you ask to speak to a manager to report her bad behavior, se refuses and hangs up. It is so unfortunate that such a rude and emotional immature person is the first contact of their business. I really hope that Ecomed's management sees this post and call me!!!!

The response time to supplying my father's breathing apparatus has been 9 weeks and waiting since prescribed by our cardiologist after my father had a TIA and ongoing heart issues and suffers with extreme sleep apnea which has made this machine absolutely necessary for his survival. This delay could cause him to pass away in his sleep and it is pathetic that Eco Med is not phased that this delay could cost him his life! We have submitted all necessary paper work to Momentum and Eco Med and the ball is in their court. We will take legal action should the delay of this process lead to his demise.

Fantastic company with remarkable people. My oxygen concentrator failed late on a Friday afternoon. Within 2 hours they were able to deliver to my house a brand-new unit. The lady was kind, courteous and professional. Hats off to Ecomed and Christina.
