Owner refusing to pay deposit back.
I moved out from a unit at eden estate due to medical reasons. I left the flat is an condition, even the owner came to do the inspection. Several days later I get a call that the place needs to be repainted. I was shocked as we had left the place clean and there was no need to repaint the unit. Then I told her I'd rather come and see the damages myself before I agree to this request, to my surprise earlier today, we found the place vandalized. All the rooms had bad scratches on the wall, there was even mud over the kitchen counter wall, were I can't even reach myself due to my height. The main bedroom wall also had mud patches and very bad scratches that catches your eye as you. enter the room. So I talk with the lady about this and she claims I should know what happened since she left me there. My point is, we evaluated the place together, there we no marks on any wall. The stove was working. Windows locking doors working and she was happy with the condition of the flat. Now she doesn't wanna pay my deposit back. If anyone is looking to rent at Rden estate, save yourself the trouble. Especially in units owned by individuals. They are ******. This particular unit is 511. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this unit.

If one think of investing in Eden Estates apartments in Pretoria North, that will be a waste of money already I’m regretting everyday that my money is going into waste, worse now we don’t have electricity for the past 3 days and the surrounding area they have, when it comes to addressing issues the body corporate is dragging their feet, it’s month end we just bought groceries and schools are opening it’s stressful to be in this place.

This place is Okay. the problem is some people who rent here. I currently stay here and there are 8 or 7 people occupying the flat above me. they are constantly saying bad things to me so as to provoke me to anger. I believe it's bitterness, hate or jealousy and we don't know each other like that. They have issues when I cook, eat( to the point that they open their toilet door to release odor over the balcony so as to irritate me), my car, the fact that I stay alone... things that are non of their business. they went as far as threatening me with witchcraft as well as cursing me to be fired at work. It has been like this since I moved here, had hoped they would get tired but they keep on getting worse. they are making my stay horrible. I mostly work from home and have picked up 3 voices who do nothing but to provoke most everyday. I've threatened to report them but I end up feeling like I'm talking to 3 year olds. they sometimes throw dirty water over the balcony, staining my curtains. they are very rude, it's nothing when you hear them in just a month but in the long run it feels like a burden. I mean, this is a place where I'm supposed to wind and rest my mind whenever I'm troubled out there.

Bad service
Eden estate doesn’t take their residents serious, we log calls to come fix the issues that I have in counter, all they do is cancel the log and now they saying I must fix the issue. Which is clearly unfair to me. They are good in giving me the runaround.
