Edgars Unallocated payment
On the 30 December, 2025 I made an EFT payment of R6000 to my Edgar's account. This was successful and I printed my Proof of Payment, ABSA bank. This amount did not reflect on my next statement so I immediately queried why....19 January, 2026. Since then have called and mailed numerous payment both Edgars / RCS departments....each one sending me to another or just rudely telling me the money is not in the account and i must query at my bank. Both my Absa branch and the Internet banking assist have repeatedly checked and have given me printouts to show the R6000 was paid into the correct account. I am again receiving payment reminders, calls threatening legal action etc.....for an account which I believe should be in credit. I am now beyond upset angry hurt and discussed with there customer service - Edgars is supposed to be a trustworthy store - just about a bunch of ******* - a 45 year client who now will NEVER deal with them again

Poor service recieved at Matlosana mall Edgar's Shop
I bought 2 perfumes using pay just now at Matlosana mall on Saturday 07/02)2026. Pay just now deducted the first installment twice, I told the sales person that was assisting me that the money was deducted from my account and it went through. He said to me it's an error they will reverse it and I should swipe my card again. As it turns out I was charged twice for the same transaction, now matlosana mall Edgar's management is giving the run around about resolving the matter. They keep on telling that pay just now is asking for sleeps of which I keep providing and they took my phone number with the promise that they will call me and they never did. I went to check on them yesterday and today and still no joy. The mistake was made by their employee and now I have to pay for it, all I want is my money back. I can't be charged twice for the same transaction because of someone's ***********.

Stay away from Edgars Sandton Cell phone department
People need to stay away from Edgars cell phones especially Mobicel being disguised as Specra cellphones! I was **** to about a supposed German cell phone product kanti it’s just good old fashioner useless Mobicel. Worst of all you call Spectra on *** and get through to Mobicel! Then they continue to deny their link! The competition commission needs to been made aware of this collision between Sandton City, Edgars, Mobicel and Spectra and maybe the SA German consulate! Also Vanishree Reddy Edgars customer care manager is one of those who are always having a runny stomach & can’t talk to clients! Then her 2ic Ashley is off ill as well. Maybe stay away from strong curry you 2!
