What a horrible, dishonest company this is 😬. I bought a car this year, told it's in perfect condition. I took it on Fri, by Sun I realised the wipers were not working, bright light was not working, front park senses we're not working and there was an odd sound it would make when I drive over a bump. They took it for a fix, I was hearing different stories when I'd follow up. Nutshell, the car was with them for over a month and they promised to pay for the installment cause why am I paying for a car that's not in my possession. I asked for my money back, they then asked to give me another car, cause getting the money back seemed important. Again, the latest one was perfect, just on face value, there were things broken, they fixed them. I took it to Dekra for a diagnosis, came back with faults, told them and they took the car to have them sorted out. I got the car back, took it for another diagnosis, the problems were still there. They said things were fixed, they just forgot to reset it. Took it back cause getting the money back is impossible at this point. Took it for another diagnosis, those problems were still there. Someone needs to tell banks to not finance any car from them, even AutoTrader needs to inspect the cars before they put them on their website. Till today I'm still fighting for the installment money they promised to pay as they only have me half. Horrible people.

I bought a VW T-Cross on the 29th of November. After a week of purchasing the vehicle, I discovered that the aircon was not working and the wipers washer tank was leaking with a missing pipe and also not working. On the 4th of January 2025 while fueling up, the petrol gushed out of the vehicle, underneath and the vehicle could not drive. I took it for repairs and it was discovered that there's a big dent underneath the car and the petrol tank pipes were worn off. On the previous week while putting on tyres, there was a side of the car which was bent which made the installation difficult. The pipe that connects to the wipers water tank was missing and only sent to me via Postnet in December. The driver's seat has a hole and there's paint chip on the driver's door as well. The driver's door makes a whistling sound when driving. The bonnet of the car is a mess, it's not intact. There's missing tubing and battery holder. I took the vehicle to VW for diagnostics and them discovered a lot of things that are wrong with the vehicle and now the dealership is refusing to cover the costs and telling me to use warranty. How do I use warranty for issues that they were aware of and just never transparent about. They are telling me to go to Ombudsmen knowing very well that I will not get assistance anytime soon. I'm now stuck with a vehicle that's unsafe for me and paying a huge instalment for it. I have been fixing one issue after the other ever since I got the vehicle.

A 2016 Hyundai H1 was advertised on AutoTrader by Edyson Motors (Marshalltown; JHB) at a very good price. Jeff was friendly and help full. Told me the vehicle was in perfect condition. I asked a friend to have a look as I am a 1000km away. My friend had some concerns. I requested that Jeff took the vehicle to Hyundai for a a 125point inspection. It was at my cost and I had to pay the Hyundai dealer directly beforehand. During the inspection I had various calls from Hyundai informing me that the car must have been in a serious accident as they have found body putty, the drivers door doesn't close properly, the side mirror is not that of Hyundai and and and. Due to the accident the warrantee is no longer valid. The list of problems was endless. Be warned!!

I bought a car from the dealer in Johannesburg and after they confirmed that the car was in good mechanical shape, I drove it for about 150km and it broke down. It turned out that the engine had burnt the torque because there was a water leakage and the thermostat was not working. Although I had been offered a mechanical warranty for 6 months, the owner called Edison asked me to assist him with R8000; his was already a sign of things to come. When the car was returned to me I took it to a professional mechanic to have it diagnosed. When issues like Camshaft timing etc were raised the dealer refused to take the car fixing as per their mechanical warranty. Also, they promised to get the service book and extra keys for the car. But so far I have not received them. I have reported them atter to Auto Trader where they were listed and the Motor Ombudsman. Do not buy your car from this dealership. They blatantly and I do not they are a registered delaership.
