A 2016 Hyundai H1 was advertised on AutoTrader by Edyson Motors (Marshalltown; JHB) at a very good price. Jeff was friendly and help full. Told me the vehicle was in perfect condition. I asked a friend to have a look as I am a 1000km away. My friend had some concerns. I requested that Jeff took the vehicle to Hyundai for a a 125point inspection. It was at my cost and I had to pay the Hyundai dealer directly beforehand. During the inspection I had various calls from Hyundai informing me that the car must have been in a serious accident as they have found body putty, the drivers door doesn't close properly, the side mirror is not that of Hyundai and and and. Due to the accident the warrantee is no longer valid. The list of problems was endless. Be warned!!

"During May 2016 made an inquiry for renewing my Vodacom Contract at ********** . A very lucrative written quote was received to confirm the discussion I had with the telesales person. With the quote, # ********** 9, in hand to confirm the details I renewed my contract. Couple of day later I received my new phone. In June I went to Vodacom Customer Care Centre at Somerset Mall to make them aware that Vodacom is not loading all the data and call minutes as discussed with 2 Telesales people and confirmed as on the quote. Instead, I was told by a Customer service Servant at Vodacom Customer Care Centre at Somerset Mall that he was ordered that he may longer assist me and apparently that his job was in jeopardy".

UPDATE

A gentleman from Vodacom, ********** 455 called me on 1 Sep'16 @ 11H45 after I made a post on Hello Peter. The duration of the call was 13m10s. I gave him a summery of what was NOT happening on which he replied that he will contact Customer Care Somerset Mall to get all the relevant documentation. I did ask him for his name and an email address on which he state that he will forward it to me after he spoke to Rudolph plus he promised me that he will call me back before the end of the day. Its now more than a week later and I am so glad I did not hold my breath. I came to the conclusion that when dealing with Vodacom staff it is very likely that you are dealing with someone that is a bull****ter.

4 Months have gone past and still the problem is unsolved. Vodacom have FAILED to uphold a contract. Vodacom have FAILED to provide me copies of my calls to their upgrade department which will confirm that the detail as set out on the quote is correct and 'no typing error' as they are saying. Vodacom have FAILED to rectify the issue within a reasonable time. Vodacom staff members have FAILED to uphold their commitment to return calls, follow up and resolve the problem. Instead, they make me out to be a liar and a beggar.

With the quote in hand to confirm the details I renewed my contract. Couple of day later I received my new phone but no SIM Card which was included in the upgrade and marked as Free. After another call to ********** I was told to get a SIM Card from my nearest Vodacom branch and e mail them the slip on which my account would be credited. I did mail prove to ********** on 23 May and again on 22 June 2016 and still no refund was done on my account. May 2015 I bought a 2nd hand 2013 Nissan Pathfinder LE.
I soon realised that the onboard SatNav system does not provide me with the correct Estimate Time of Travel (ETT). Only during our family holiday in July I realised the extend of the problem. eg It will take me excess of 6 hours to travel from Beaufort West to Stellenbosch 415km which actually only took me 4H30 hours. My cell GPS also has an ETT in the region of 4.5hours.
I brought this under the attention of Nissan Stellenbosch on 13 July 2015.
Nissan South Africa told me to do a software upgrade at an cost of R4500 vat excl.
It was then later agreed that the cost will be split three ways.
This is not an isolated issue. When I Google it I find various forums making mention of incorrect ETA &
