I bought a pair of trousers with my wife on 29 August 2025, only to discover afterwards that they were torn underneath. I called the store on 31 August and was told we could bring them back for an exchange. When we finally went to Lufiano Sandton on 14 September, the staff were polite and willing to help — thank you to them. But after a long call with the area manager, Connie, she refused both to exchange or even repair the trousers. For a brand I’ve supported because of its quality and service, this was unacceptable. It only takes one incident like this to turn loyal customers into critics. Refusing to stand behind your product is unfair and terrible customer care.
14 June 2025: I just visited the Medical ICU and met Sister Visser taking care of my mother. What a wonderful and active nurse. She ave me a brief of my mothers condition. Asked a few questions. Fetched me a chair and said to ask if I needed anything. They sure do not make them this way. Most of the timing approaching some of the nurses itys as if you are bothering them. Thank you Sr Visser!

From the moment my mother was admitted after her hypertensive bleed/stroke, we were met with compassion, professionalism, and unwavering support. First and foremost, I extend my deepest thanks to Dr. Nkabinde, the neurosurgeon who quite literally gave my mother a second chance at life. His willingness to operate, despite the odds, was an act of courage and his skill as a surgeon is nothing short of miraculous. We are eternally indebted to him for his expertise and dedication. To the nursing staff on the ward, you were our pillars of strength during an incredibly difficult time. Your kindness, empathy, and unwavering commitment to my mother's care were truly remarkable. Unit Manager Sunette, your leadership and compassion set the tone for the entire unit. Sister Govender, Sister Queen, and Sister Yvonne, your expertise and attentiveness were invaluable. Nurse Paulina, Viggy, and Rennie, your gentle care and comforting presence made a world of difference. To every sister and nurse whose name we may have missed, please know that your contributions were deeply appreciated. Your detailed updates and willingness to answer our questions provided much-needed reassurance during a time of uncer*****y. Even the security guards, with their friendly greetings and helpful demeanor, played a part in creating a positive and supportive environment. After lodging a complaint on Hellopeter, this company called me and I was invited to their offices at Waterfall City. They acknowledged their many mistakes in handling my account and I was told by Caroline, in person, at their boardroom, that they will correct my account and it has been 2 weeks with no feedback. And if the past 12 months are to go by, they are going to try and debit my account again for an amount I do not owe them and after they have actually sent me a Paid Up Letter. This company is the worst in terms of customer service and actually has the worst finance and administration departments. Everyone seems to churn out their own statement of account, settlement amount, paid up letter etc
This company continues to send me bills and debit my account even after the account was settled. And so far the promised Paid Up Letter has not been sent to me, 2 months later. The worst and most unprofessional tracking company. After several months of disputing a debt that I did not own because there was neither a contract nor acknowledgement of my cancellation I made payment and still to this date they continue to debit my account and send me invoices. When on the other hand someone has called me saying they will send the Paid Up Letter.
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Mix Telematics, which I feel compelled to share. Their handling of my case regarding vehicle tracking services was far below satisfactory standards, causing unnecessary stress and impacting my credit rating. 1. Inefficient Cancellation Process: Despite promptly informing Mix Telematics of the cancellation of tracking services in May 2023 due to a vehicle trade-in, their response and acknowledgment were unacceptably delayed. This negligence is clearly reflected in their late acknowledgment in December 2023, six months after my initial request. 2. Unjust Billing Practices: I was billed for several months after the cancellation notice, which is unjust and unreasonable. While I acknowledge the charge for June 2023, the subsequent billing until November 2023 is completely unwarranted and disputed. 3. Negative Impact on Credit Profile: This billing dispute adversely affected my credit profile as reported by Experian and Transunion. As someone who maintains a good standing on all accounts, this has been an unjust blow to my credit rating. 4. Lack of Communication and Customer Support: The delay in acknowledging my cancellation request and the lack of timely communication from Mix Telematics have been major points of dissatisfaction. Their customer service, especially towards rectifying issues, has been notably poor. 5. Delayed Welcome Letter and Onboarding Process: The welcome letter, a crucial part of the onboarding process, was received almost a year late, which reflects poorly on their organizational efficiency and customer engagement. 6. Resistance to Invoice Revision: Despite clear evidence of my cancellation request in May 2023, Mix Telematics has not revised the invoice appropriately, leading to incorrect and unfair billing. In conclusion, my experience with Mix Telematics has been highly unsatisfactory. Their handling of billing and customer communication is inefficient and has negatively impacted my financial standing. I strongly urge potential customers to reconsider before engaging with this company. Their lack of responsiveness and failure to provide timely service resolution has been deeply frustrating.
The company was apparently taken over last year. I had paid an amount of R2289.51. The funds were subsequently not used towards an order. When I called for a refund they said they were new owners and they cannot issue a refund, but the credit can be used for future orders. I have made an order and they have advised me that they are awaiting payment. From the time it takes to respond you can see that the company is no longer under the original owners. Do not use the company as the quality of customer service has obviously degenerated.
This company by a lady called Phumzile Skosana a director of Balleo Engineering cannot be trusted. In 2017 she borrowed close to R300000.00 from our Christian-based funding organization. She got paid by Eskom and lied that she wasn't, then ran away to Vereeniging where she is now a self-styled personal finance guru. Anyone who does not honour their debts cannot be trusted with giving financial advice of whatever nature or standard. Stay away!
I bought a car from the dealer in Johannesburg and after they confirmed that the car was in good mechanical shape, I drove it for about 150km and it broke down. It turned out that the engine had burnt the torque because there was a water leakage and the thermostat was not working. Although I had been offered a mechanical warranty for 6 months, the owner called Edison asked me to assist him with R8000; his was already a sign of things to come. When the car was returned to me I took it to a professional mechanic to have it diagnosed. When issues like Camshaft timing etc were raised the dealer refused to take the car fixing as per their mechanical warranty. Also, they promised to get the service book and extra keys for the car. But so far I have not received them. I have reported them atter to Auto Trader where they were listed and the Motor Ombudsman. Do not buy your car from this dealership. They blatantly and I do not they are a registered delaership.
Excellent place for nature lovers. The host Lesley was very informative and welcoming. Sweets on the bed, nicely wrapped toilet paper in the bathroom, restocking of coffee and very powerful and warm shower experience. If you do not mind the lack of strong WIFI, DSTV, and her dogs then this place is good for reflection and exploration. Awesome 5 STAR service.
