If the was a zero, I would rate it. I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received at Engen Zaks Convenience Centre, Diepkloof, Soweto, on 07/07/2025. I visited the station with my petrol light on and purchased R200 worth of petrol (approximately 9 liters), but my vehicle's fuel gauge did not increase. The attendant, who was courteous, told me it would go up and advised me to call or return if it did not. However, after leaving, my gauge remained unchanged, and upon my return, it was showing almost empty. I requested to speak with a manager and was assisted by an individual claiming to be Sabelo Mchunu, who appeared unprofessional—no name tag, disheveled appearance—and did not bother to check my vehicle's gauge or investigate my claim properly. He suggested I return on Thursday, but when I did, I was shown a video of my vehicle with no evidence supporting my claim, and I was met with rudeness and refusal to assist. Instead, I was told to open a case. I paid for a service that was not rendered, and the station refused to refund or provide petrol. Additionally, management confirmed that this is a common issue experienced at this station, which further indicates a recurring problem. This entire experience reflects poor customer service, unprofessionalism, and a lack of accountability, which I find unacceptable. I request that this matter be addressed promptly and that I be compensated for the service I paid for but did not receive.

4 days since I left my details with hopes that I'd get a call from a manager regarding the R100 Air that was filled in my tank! Which resulted to serious engine issues and now no start! Daily supporter of this garage only to find out you have been the slow death of my vehicle! I still await your gracious call!

on friday afternoon i my petrol was low it was showing 55km so i asked the petrol attendance the name tag was mthokozisi then i said pour 100rand 95 okay xap he asked if i was paying cash or with card of which it was funny before he poured ,i did not even checked if he did so i paid him ,i did not asked for a slip ......then when im about to go the petrol light came on and it is still showing 55km WHICH WAS CONFUNSING AND WHEN I ASKED THAT GUY HE CLAIMED HE DID POUR 100 RAND PETROL AND HE PRINTED OUT THE SLIP OF WHICH I DONT BEALIEVE IT WAS MINE SO ,,,,MIND YOU MY CAR IS A 2023 MODEL IT WILL NEVER LIE A 100 RAND PETROL Was gonna TURN OFF THE PETROL LIGHT ,SO I CALLED THE MANAGER WHO WAS VERY RUDE I DONT EVEN THINK HE IS FROM SOUTH AFRICA THE WAY HE BEHAVE,,,HE IS VERY UNPROFFESIONAL AND HE IS ***IEST AS HE UNDERMINED ME AS A WOMEN AND I WAS TAKING PHOTOS OF THEM THEY WERE VIOLENT WITH ME MY PHONE WAS ON THE FLOOR AS IM TAKING THIS MATTER TO MY LAWYER IM SUING THAT MANAGER AND THE PETROL ATTENDANT AND I HAD TO POUR ANOTHER 100RAND TO PROOF TO THEM THEN MY GAUGE WENT FROM 55KM TO 150 KM AND I TOLD THEM I WONT PAY THEY DENIED THEY CALLED ME A ***** I WAS SO TRAUMATIZED I CANT EVEN EXPLAIN IT I FELT SO HUMILIATED WHO EVER THE OWNER IS ....THERE IS A LOT OF ***** GOING ON THERE JUST IMAGINE ITS YOUR LAST 100RAD AND THEY ARE DOING THIS TO YOU ,.....MOTORIST AVOID THAT ENGEN IN KLOPPERPARK THEY ARE ****** ,,,,*****ING FROM US IT MY BE CLOSED AND ALL THE STAFF THERE ARE NOT PROFFESIONAL THEY ARE WORKING TOGETHER BY *****ING AND PRINTING SLIPS THAT BELONG TO OTHER MOTORIST BEWARE

21571 Peach Street Extension 29 Protea glen 1818 13 September 2023 Dear Sir / Madam My name is Felicity Ditlhare Khaile I reside here in Protea Glen Extension 29 .I have a serious problem with the service from ENGEN PROTEA GLEN GAS STATION. Today I went there at 13: 15 afternoon believing that I'll get an electricity as a customer because I know that that place during the day there are very few customers inside .Unfortunately I felt small when the cashier told me that she cannot assist me because around 10 o'clock they experienced off line . I asked her smart and saying" May you please check for me as time is 13:15 now and remember we were affected by loadsheding by then now it's been 1hr 15 min our electricity came back ". She answered saying "No I cannot do that because I'll have the return slip if I do so" . I said I am going to my work place anytime soon I want to do something to eat please try and check for me .She was very ******** I don't think she heard me but she repeated saying the line is off mama . Remember from Extension 29 where I live to that garage is 6m but because of traffic you cannot take that 6min from our map but you took approximately 20min to go. I then go to another garage ( Shell garage Protea glen) From their garage to Shell garage it's another 25 minutes to go .That's where I got the electricity without complaints. Now as our Engen garage promised us that they are selling electricity at their place / store I would like to ask them my petrol I used to go to their garage and not getting help unnecessarily because of their cashier that doesn't want to do their job . As I wasted more time and got an electricity at 13:45 hence I had to cook so I can go to my work place. Entered a competition at Engen, marketed by Pesso Marketing. I was contacted by Pesso Marketing as winner. I produced receipt to Pesso Marketing, however they failed to provide me with the competition voucher for R1500. I complained to Engen head office, but this was futile. The muted response from Engen is not befitting a company of such stature.
