Escapology Woodmead The Worst Out there !!!!
**The Worst Experience Getting My Nails Done** I had the worst experience getting my nails done at this shop. The staff member (the nail technician) was the worst. No gloves were used, and no hand sanitizer was app****. She cut my cuticle deeply, removing most of it. All she did was smile and wipe my bleeding wound with her bare hand. This is the most unhygienic shop I have ever encountered! Does this person not realize that skin contact with an open wound puts one at risk for HIV? DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SHOP UNLESS YOU WANT A BAD EXPERIENCE AND DON'T MIND RISKING YOUR HEALTH! She is still employed there, so the owner clearly does not care about customers, only about money and providing unhygienic services. I ADVISE THE STAFF TO GO FOR PROPER TRAINING AND TAKE NOTES FROM Sorbet!

**The Worst Experience Getting My Nails Done** I had the worst experience getting my nails done at this shop. The staff member (the nail technician) was the worst. No gloves were used, and no hand sanitizer was app****. She cut my cuticle deeply, removing most of it. All she did was smile and wipe my bleeding wound with her bare hand. Absolutely terrible service from the owner and from the lady who did my nails.
Absolutely terrible nail salon! This was my messsge to them: To whom it may concern I had my nails done on the 31st of May at the sunninghill branch. I had acrylic tips and paint done where I asked to have ombre done and the owner said they don't do ombre, which I then did a color. I walked out of the salon very happy and only for my nails to start coming off a few days later. It is now the 10th of June and they are still falling off. The lady who did my nails was very rough and rushed my nails so she could leave by 5pm. The owner had told me it was R420 and so I booked the appointment only to be told it is R570 when I finished my nails. They have not lasted. I am disappointed in the owner when I tried to phone her I got a reply saying "she can't talk now". Absolutely feeling disrespected and not happy with the service and communication. 1st and last time I will ever be back at your salon! I DO NOT recommend this salon! The staff are not properly trained!

I have been going to Escapology in Woodmead and Sunninghill for over 17 years and have ALWAYS had great service and experiences. ****am Kalidas and her team will go the extra mile to accomodate a client. I highly recommend this business for all your beauty needs.

Excellent Service and Quality Products
I was delighted to find Nelly and Rose when visiting the store in Sunninghill. I’ve frequented the store on numerous occasions and I’m always treated kindly and my hands and feet look beautiful! They are truly assets to the salon and would highly recommend them both!

Excellent Service and Quality Products

Unfriendly cold staff who act like you’re doing them a favour
Took my car for a wash and told it would take an hour so I decided let me do my nails while I wait. I normally go to hash tag nails in rivonia … this was one of the worst experiences for me firstly the staff was chilling I even thought the girl was a client and apologised for being mistaken. She gets up and looks bothered I even asked her if everything was okay I go on to ask about the pricing as I had seen a board outside about some specials . I tell her I need a soak off and then I want to do my nails . She leads me to a chair soaks me off and begins to paint my toes so I’m like isn’t it a pedicure she tells me they are having a special for R390 and I’m like but off course I would’ve gone for that instead I wish she showed some interest some enthusiasm at least try to fake it . I highly don’t recommend the place I let her continue to paint my nails for R300 as opposed to R390 including a pedicure it’s really a no brainier . I don’t recommend the place . Also the appearance of staff she had a sorbet top on and very chipped nails it just doesn’t I’m still Faith

Escapology Sunninghill Village Centre
Firstly this nail salon is no longer located at the address on Google. They have since moved to Sunninghill Village Centre. Watch out for these chancers!!! They will give you a poor service of beyond the worst quality and when you have an issue they will blame you for it. Pathetic attitude from the owner ****am. Pathetic attitude from her employees. Birds of a feather. I went there on the 28th of September to do gelish nails it is now the 7th of October which is 8 days. And the gel polish came of as well as my nails were not treated correctly and it is chipping. ****am who gives her own company a 5 star review to unethically boost her reviews has decided that the reason my gel nail polish came off is because it’s my fault that my nails are chipping. Don’t waste your time on fly by nights. She said to me nobody has had a issue with her and her company ever. Look at the reviews, already she lied. Additionally if she had any gray matter as business owner she could have firstly apologized and then offered to have redone my nails at half the price. Because it is your pathetic quality of service that brought me here in the first place. Using your tiny brain you could have saved a client and made something off the transaction. I’m now at Shaz nails in Kyalami and they are doing a great job. I would recommend them. Don’t waste your money with incompetent fools.

Overcharge and use cheap products or technicians not trained correctly!!
Not a pleasant experience at all... I went to escapology the day before I was due to leave on vacation and booked an appointment to have my nails done. Whilst there is showed the salon lady a specific picture of what I wanted and asked for a price. She confirmed R250. The next day I attended my appointment a few hours before I was due to fly... I had my nails done as per the picture I had shown the day before... the "ombre" style wasn't exactly as i would have liked, but I was willing to accept it. I was also told that I had to ha e acrylics as the technician couldn't do ombre with gel... something I wasn't happy about as acrylic damages your nails so much more than gel. When it cam to pay, I was charged R350 instead of the agreed R250... the reason behind this R100 increase... I had 2 small strips of glitter put ring finger.... I explained that this was already shown in the picture and we had agreed on the cost the day before... the owner would not budge, saying that was the price... I begrudgingly paid and left.... only to have 2 of the brand new nails come off nit even an hour later when I was at the airport.
