I saw the review by Mertin S, and I had EXACTLY the same experience! I googled "Flysafair" to book a return flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town, and thinking that I am on the Flysafair site, I booked a flight. When I wanted to pay, I got a message from my bank, alerting me that it is a possible *****ulent transaction, to which I answered that it is a legitimate transaction. The payment therefore went through. When I received an email from Flysafair, I realised that I paid more than a thousand Rand more for the ticket (probably commission). I am writing this review to warn other consumers of this predatory behaviour from eSky. Please ensure that you book on the Flysafair page! JdB

I recently booked flights through eSky, and also ended up booking a rental car via their platform. I had concerns after reading online reviews calling them a ****. I contacted eSky directly, and they assured me they are a legitimate company — and I do believe they are. That said, my experience was very disappointing. I was charged an additional R3,005.38 for “transaction fees and service costs.” According to eSky, this included things like processing fees and services such as online check-in. Yet when I changed my return flight directly with the airline, I later received the following email from eSky: “Just a quick heads-up - online check-in isn’t available for your FlySafair flight from George to Johannesburg on 24-09-2025. No worries, though! You can check in for free at the FlySafair check-in counter at the airport. Just make sure to arrive at least two hours before your departure to allow enough time.” In other words, despite paying a large additional fee, the “support” provided was telling me to do the free check-in at the airport myself. On top of this, the car rental booking through eSky was also problematic. When I arrived to collect the car, the reference could not be easily found, which made the process more complicated. And because the booking had been prepaid through eSky, there was no flexibility to make changes directly with the car rental company. While I do not believe eSky is a ****, my personal experience is that the extra fees and booking process added stress, cost, and inconvenience without real value. I would strongly recommend booking flights and car rentals directly with the airline or provider to avoid unnecessary charges and complications.

I searched online for FlySafAir. I clicked a link that said FlySafAir and made a booking. When I paid, I got emails from eskytravel with an amount paid much higher than the flight booking amount. I was led to believe I was booking through FlySafAir and paid an additional R1361.32 for no reason I was aware of.

I had a terrible experience with e-Siyakhokha. They were extremely dishonest, constantly asking for deposits, and even restricting my account, which had over R255,000. I tried reaching out to their customer service, but they were unhelpful and refused to resolve the issue. Thankfully, I got in touch with Mrs. Faina, who took my case seriously. She helped restore my account, and I was able to withdraw everything. I’m now completely done with e-Siyakhokha and would advise others to stay away from them. If you’re in a similar situation, I recommend contacting Mrs. Faina directly at FAINASECURETEAM ___ ((@)) g_ma__" il,___c0__m.

TERRIBLE. This site is a ****. It pays to be on the top of the Google rankings and look like it's not a third-party site. Its terms and conditions are terrible and it sets out to deceive customers. Very sneaky and dishonest. A ****!

We booked a flight with eSky, then it was canceled by the airline. Me and another friend booked through eSky and other two friends booked the very same flight through another agent, that agent refunded them the very same day the flight was canceled. We didn't get the refund yet. I sent more than a dozen emails and called them, still get the same reply: "We waiting for airline response". This is just the worst experience I ever had with any customer service. We know they are lying to us because first of all, other agents refunded their customers. Second of all, we contacted the airline, 'El Al' and they confirmed that the only thing that eSky needs to get the money is to ask them for a refund. Do yourself a big favor and never order anything from this company.

I booked a flight and the funds were deducted and flight booked but a day later I was told the booking is cancelled because the flight was fully booked. And now they tell me to book another ticket which now the difference was already going on R1700,00 and I am supposed to pay the difference. My question is how does the website allow me to book a fully booked flight and why am I paying a difference for their glitches.
