There's a special to be able to buy a garlic bread for R20 when you buy 2 large pizzas. We paid for the pizza then wanted to add the garlic bread and they wouldn't give us the special.
I searched online for FlySafAir. I clicked a link that said FlySafAir and made a booking. When I paid, I got emails from eskytravel with an amount paid much higher than the flight booking amount. I was led to believe I was booking through FlySafAir and paid an additional R1361.32 for no reason I was aware of.
I bought a new battery for my car from Tiger Wheel And Tyre. They had an advert that showed that you can pay using eBucks. The lady at TWT then said I needed to buy a 1Voucher on eBucks and she would redeem it for payment. I did that, but then she couldn't redeem the voucher. I had to pay cash for the battery. But the amount for the voucher has gone off my cheque account. (Not from eBucks as expected). I contacted FNB and they transferred my 4 times between the Private Clients Service Suit, Helpdesk, Digital Banking Support and finally FNB Connect. I had to explain the situation every single time and that I need my money back. The latest helper logged a ticket with their service provider team and I got an email stating that they will endeavor to resolve the issue in the 3 days time. In the meantime, I'm sitting without my money, when I need it. As you can imagine, I'm rather frustrated and disappointed with the poor service.
It seems impossible to contact Sanlam Gap cover to check if they will cover an MRI excess payment. If you call them during business hours, they simply never answer.
Stable internet provider. Getting service is very difficult though. I've been on a chat with an agent the whole day, trying to cancel my fiber, because I want to get a better package elsewhere. I'm not getting it done. Service is very bad. And you can't phone them.
It seems impossible for a client to get an extract of data of the last 6 months of all personal cheque and credit card transactions in a format one could use to aggregate the data, for example for budgeting purposes. You can only get it in PDF format, which you can't process. They have the data; they just will not give it in a format you can use to work with on a pc. I find this fact absolutely pathetic.
We rented a car in George from the 21st of September to the 1st of October. They charged me R3200 for a deposit, which after more than a week of returning the car, I have not received. When we handed the car back, we didn't receive any documents. We were late for our flight so we left, trusting an email would be sent. We never received any documentation and with the original booking number, when registering on their site with the paid with credit card, it doesn't pick up the booking. It seems they have effectively ****** my deposit. The service is pathetic. when you phone them, you get put on hold and never get through. With emails they don't even check with your email to see if they can find something. I will never rent a car with AVIS again.
I've been with Easy Equities for a few years and all was going well, but I don't log in often and once in a while I will go check growth and or buy stock etc. I checked today after a while and realized they suddenly added a cost for Thrive. (Thrive is their training platform). They charge R25 per month. They did this without my consent. I logged a support query about it, to which they responded saying they sent a communication about it last year. I don't read all communication and I explained to them that it still doesn't serve as consent. They managed to take an additional $7 on my USD account. I must've lost a couple of hundred rands in total. Without even expecting it. I've decided to pull everything out of Easy Equities and will not use them any more, because they are "****my". Please be careful.
I bought prepaid electricity on the mobile FNB app. I got a message with three codes that didn't make sense and was unusual. I tried loading electricity with the codes, but none of them works. I tried contact FNB on their secure chat on the app and it took more than half an hour to tell me to log a query elsewhere. I have not had a response to that query yet. I spent money buying electricity and didn't get it. Now I'm stuck without electricity.
I bought a printer online. After placing the order I realized it was the wrong printer and phoned them to cancel the order (yesterday). After cancelling the order telephonic-ally, today, I receive a notification that the order has been dispatched. So they didn't cancel the order. Which means I will have to wait for delivery, go to store, return it and then wait how many days to get a refund. Very frustrating how poor their service is. Reminder to myself, never buy from Game ever again
