I’ve had the worst year at Waterkloof on Main due to the bully and inconsistent behaviour from an Agent called Estelle. The place is lovely and safe but came with lots of electrical and plumbing issues. She would take her time to contact the service provider. Leaking roofs triggers electricity and damaged my new washing machine and wasn’t bothers now she’s taking her time time refund my deposit and comes up with painting that needs to be done of which I moved into a not freshly painted apartment. She comes unannounced to show people the place. She’s just a very cold agent and her tone is uncalled for.

During my time at university in Pretoria, I rented at Du South between 2018 until the end of 2019. My dad had fallen seriously ill towards the end of the rental and later died early 2020. This meant that he could not afford my rent for 2 months. Instead of showing me compassion and allowing me to make a plan to pay everything back (while planning his funeral) she chained my apartment and refused entry until I paid. My apartment had everything in it including passports, clothes, furniture etc. she continually berated me and harassed me even though she knew the situation. She also entered the apartment without me being there. She is ********* and runs her business *******ly as you are required to get a court order before evicting a tenant. Until today, I have not received any of my belongings. So I warn all black students because she is also ******.

You are victimising a student who is renting one of your flats, If rent has not been paid its your duty to take that up with the parent and Not the child, you have gone to an extant that you want to invade the child's privacy by wanting to access the premises when she has asked for privacy. I find that you are so rude and removing the child's finger prints preventing her access to the place is Not allowed, Your work ethics are so wrong and your licence should be revoked, your rent will be paid but the way you are going about it is so wrong.

Stay away from this agency. I had a signed lease agreement until 20 Dec but was eventually forced to pay for the full month of December as they held my whole deposit hostage until I paid for the full month. Their reasoning was that the contract does not cater for pro rata payments so the full month was due. This is clearly complete ******* but the amount for the balance of the month was a lot less than the deposit so I eventually paid. They know this and abuse this position with joy.

We had an appointment with Estelle to view 2 rental properties for students. Two hours before we had to leave for Pretoria we received a Whatsapp message from somebody to say he is doing Estelle's appointments for the day. Fine, it would have been nice if she could have told us but okay. He then proceded to tell us that he has 2 properties ...... well those are not the ones we asked Estelle to show is. His properties are around R3000 per month MORE. He then told us tbat that is next years pricess!!!! In all my 55 years I have never heard of rentals on flats that will increase with R3000 per month. I told him that it is not the same properties as we asked to view and his attitude was one of Well take it or leave it. We understand that in Hatfield they will never have a shortage of tennants so the attitude is one off If it is not you it will be someone else we can rent to. Estelle, please do not underestimate the value of good service. Word of mouth can do a lot of harm to a business and never think that clients are idiots that you and your staff can treat anyway you like.
