Scammers: Executive Recruitment Network & Inter Checks SA
SCAM ALERT!!! I believe Inter Checks SA to be working hand in hand with at least 2 "Recruitment Agencies" EXECUTIVE DIRECT STAFFING SOLUTIONS (EDDS) and EXECUTIVE RECRUITMENT NETWORK. Internet checks for these 2 agencies existence in SA doesn't not yield any results although their email addresses for you to send your results end in co.za. So neither exists!!! Both agencies do exist overseas (stealing an overseas agency's ID to show up in a google search is a common trick used by fake recruiters.) Interchecks once again does exist overseas. HOW IT WORKS: You will apply for a job. Within hours, you will get a reply telling you that you have the job (no interview???) but have to pay for background checks & that it cannot be deducted from your salary. They recommend Interchecks & even provide links & contact details. If you google INTERCHECKS website for a SA foot print, it is decent looking & so you might be fooled. I was almost fooled. What comes up first on Google is their offer to EDDS applicants. This appears before their "official" website which is second in a Google search. They even offer a 50 % discount for applicants from these agencies. They get out of you: * R320 *Identity no & home address to use for fraud. Whilst the email from the recruiter says to send your results to an email address ending in co.za, the email was sent from a gmail account.

SCAM BEWARE--INTERCHECKS
I was nearly scammed by this company working with interchecks. After they gave me their Banking details I called them to verify their email and banking details, my calls were not answered and my number was then put on reject list.

However, the employers now require a recent (not older than three months) full profile background checks and screening on your profile before final job offer as now this is compulsory prior to final job offer. They sent me an email that reads as such from a Gmail account : Good day, We received your application regarding the advertised Customer Service Consultant Staff Vacancy and we apologize for the late response as we have been waiting on the new openings. We would like to inform you that we now have a right position suitable for you to be filled within this month of June 2020 at a starting salary of R9550 per month plus benefits on a contract to permanent basis. This full time position is available within a well known Telecommunications company which is authorized to operate during the lockdown and you will be working as a Customer Service Consultant under our Executive Recruitment Network. (ERN) We're now finalizing the entire application process but before you join the company, your employers require a recent (not older than three months) full background check & screening on your profile as this is now a compulsory prior to the final job offer. Kindly note that us as an agency, we do not provide this service.
