Super Excellent Fantastic Service
Fit It Upington Saturday I arrived after closing, but they still helped me. This is going the extra mile for your customer, I would gladly recommend them to anyone any time. They are friendly and helpful and it is always a pleasure to do business with them.

Dont repair your Volvo at Fit It.
I have reviewed Fit It Menlyn. They did an engine overhaul on my Volvo S60r. It dripped water permanently from the exhaust and smoked. I did take it to another mechanic, being fed up with their service and he did a few minor repairs. But then decided to take it back to Fit-It. Of course the warranty was voided. But they proceeded and sent the head back to the engineer and assembled the motor. But they could not fix the detonation, and gave the car in that condition. I contacted the ombudsman that ruled in their favour, simply because I had taken it elsewhere. But i did not pursue it, even though they had proceeded with the work after the warranty was voided, and could not fix the car. CASE 1 But CASE TWO. was the second Volvo S40 engine job that they did. I am now having to redo the engine. I have already listed the problems in my second review. And they have not replied to that review. They replied to the first Volvo -Case 1.

I have probably spent R100000 at this mechanical workshop. The number of cars that go through is phenomenal, but there is no quality check. They did an engine overhaul on my car. It had no power. oil leak. I broke down. I took it to another mechanic. Then back to fit it. My warranty was voided. However they still continued to fix the car , charged me ( after sending it back to the engineer ) and gave me the car detonating. They could not sort it out . Another mechanic charged me an additional R12000, I had to supply the spares . The car was fixed.

Shockingly bad service at Fit It Menlyn
1. I asked Jannie to investigate a noise at my steering ... that wasn’t done 2. They charged me R13000 to replace my clutch. I accepted another quote for the same job for R8600 3. I asked them to check my faulty central locking unit. The quoted me R3500 per unit telephonically and R2500 written and when I asked them if they can’t change it to manual in meantime they said it is not possible. I got someone to change it to manual yesterday 4. I had to pay Fit it R350 for the diagnostic for doing nothing They only went for a test drive to give me a diagnostic after I insisted on a written quote I am seriously shocked that anyone can be so unethical in doing business I will never use them again!
