Constantia Hotel Midrand Very disappointed at this place and the service we received and still waiting for refund sins 14 February 2026. Originally we booked and paid a valentines special on Fomo that included dinner, spa massage, one night stay and breakfast. When we got to the place, entrance smelled like smoke and reception dismissed our arrival, we greeted multiple times to only than get recognition from reception (Kedibone) and we where than informed that they have no such booking. The manager Jacobs came to assist us, received a room and than where rushed to the spa as no one knew we where booked. The spa room smelled moldy, floor was dirty and towels smelled foul. Come dinner time we where informed that the restaurant side was under new management and that we had to pay for dinner, but will be refunded by the manager Jacobs on that coming week when it was working hours,as it was part of the special that we already paid for. Room itself was outdated and not as per advertised on special. Next morning went to restaurant and no staff was onsite to assist with breakfast, waited an hour to see if we would get any assistance and than only left to book out as we didn't get any waiter or anything so no breakfast received,than went to reception where no staff was on site ,only to than get help from one of the spa ladies that walked in and called someone, Kedibone came to assist and when we asked regarding breakfast she laughed in our faces and was very disrespectful. We have than send through our dinner slips and last responds 25 Feb and yet no refund off dinner and breakfast we paid now double for and just ignoring us. Would not recommend.

I bought a voucher on FOMO and despite receiving email after email of their deals, I didn't receive my voucher and cannot get hold of them. The contact number they have available doesn't exist.

We booked the Valentine’s special with FOMO and they collaborated with Constantia Hotel and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The room itself was clean /average, but the carpet had a damp, musty smell which made my partner uncomfortable from the start. The biggest issue however, was the facilities we specifically paid for. Dinner was completely unorganised, there was no clear direction, no set time, and everything ran very late. The food felt like an afterthought. We were served what seemed like a soggy leftover wrap. Considering we had paid for a dinner and breakfast package, this was unacceptable and we honestly would have been better off buying McDonald’s. Breakfast the next morning was just as frustrating. We had to complain before being served, and even then, the food arrived in dribs and drabs instead of as a proper meal. The massage experience was also poorly handled. We requested a Sunday 08:30 slot but only received the treatment hours later. It was meant to be a one-hour massage but lasted roughly 30–45 minutes. What made the entire experience worse was the staff repeatedly saying “we don’t know” when asked basic questions. It genuinely felt like they were unprepared and unaware that guests were even arriving for a Valentine’s package. The whole event seemed last-minute and poorly planned. Very disappointing overall, especially for something marketed as a special experience.

I had such a great experience with FOMO’s customer service! I bought a voucher for a spa day as a birthday gift, spoke to the spa beforehand and no one mentioned they were closing down. Just a few days before the birthday, when I tried to make the booking, the spa informed me they were permanently closed. I contacted FOMO and Ryan handled it so professionally—my refund was processed immediately with no hassle at all. Super quick, helpful and friendly service! Really impressed with how they handled the situation. Highly recommend FOMO, I’ll definitely be using them again.

I'm not one to buy a voucher online with these ****s that they create every second...but I took a chance on Fomo website not sure why but gosh I have no regrets....it was one of the best decisions ever. Everything was easy and simple from getting my voucher and feedback from the spa was seamless. Thank you Fomo you have gained a lifetime member,coming soon for my quadbike experience
