Prioritising online sales over customer support at FNB
FNB decided to prioritise online sales over customer service today - crashing their site in the process and blocking my business from being able to achieve our goals. Business banker is nowhere to be found. Support ends the phone without support and then tells me that the support line closed at 15:45 - maybe if you didn't end the call on me twice then we wouldn't be in this situation. Vodacom no longer the greatest
I've been a customer for 25 years.Been struggling for 2 days and 2 hours on a phone to get an upgrade.How is it possible that I have to beg and plead for a simple upgrade?When we call you,we need to answer 12 security questions but when you call me I cant ask for verification that I am speaking to Vodacom-if I do they threaten to cancel the upgrade and force me to visit a store.2 replies

Awesome service and product offering

Just understand this - discovery is always right and you are wrong
Applied for life insurance with Discovery. Had to speak to several people on the phone, taking up massive amounts of time AND medical tests. I made the mistake of being honest about recreation drug usage 20 years ago and mentioned a auto-immune disease that has been cured by removing an organ completely and therefore eradicating the disease 100% BUT clearly Discovery saw $$$$$ and immediately increased monthly payments by over R200. Called FNB and had life coverage activated at half the cost and twice the cover within 15 minutes. Have been a client of Discovery for 20 years. Currently seeking quotes to move all my business away from these money grabbing maniacs.2 replies
