We sat outside and soon were covered in tiny white bugs. We saw the wood was infested with them: the trees and garden sleepers. The waiter politely apologised and said they already knew. They couldn't move us as the whole area was infested. We were stuck as it was Mother's Day but it was awful. They put up umbrellas but about 20 bugs were on me at any time, and on the kids in the play area. We definitely ate and drank some too.

The food was mediocre, and the cauliflower side was inedible. We had a chef with us who confirmed it was spoiled with vinegar. They said it was just a strong cheddar taste. I've also cooked professionally a few times and can tell cheese from vinegar most days. None of the 7 of us ate it. They gave us a few pieces of pork crackling to make up for it, but half of them were burnt black on one side.

I'm really annoyed at how my mom's Mother's Day turned out. Being covered in bugs and eating bad food wasn't what I had in mind for her day.

I left my money and went home early to shower and wash my clothes. Haven't heard yet if they gave a discount in the end but even that hardly makes up for the experience we had. Thanks a bunch guys.
