The hike was scenic.It’s shaded almost throughout the hike which makes it enjoyable.The directions are clear and not difficult to follow.I would recommend it for all ages. The restaurant service was quick and meals are delicious.

What a great experience we had with my kids and my friend and her kids. We booked a camping site at Giba Land for one night . The venue is kids and pet friendly. Oh my gosh !! What a night and experience.The food from Umfula Cafe was scrumptious and the waiters services was phenomenal m,our waiter name was Mlu we really need more people like Mlu in a restaurant industry. The owner Carol was exactly what we needed for our adventurous trip we were so impressed by her professionalism. Giba Land is amazing and their prices for food and accommodation is very reasonable and affordable. We are definitely going back in September for the whole weekend camp. Carol,Mlu and the whole team thank you so much guys for going extra miles for your clients . You are amazing!!!!! Regards Sli

What a great experience we had with my kids and my friend and her kids. We booked a camping site at Giba Land for one night . The venue is kids and pet friendly. Oh my gosh !! What a night and experience.The food from Umfula Cafe was scrumptious and the waiters services was phenomenal m,our waiter name was Mlu we really need more people like Mlu in a restaurant industry. The owner Carol was exactly what we needed for our adventurous trip we were so impressed by her professionalism. Giba Land is amazing and their prices for food and accommodation is very reasonable and affordable. We are definitely going back in September for the whole weekend camp. Upon doing the initial reservation i was advised that i could not bring my own food as there was a restuarant on site (i could not make use of the resturant as i am muslim and they do not cater halaal friendly). I was then advised that if i wanted to book the accommodation i had to pay an extra surcharge to bring my own food. I then opted to book the place and have my meals offsite (i booked the teepee) . The road to get to the place was horrific and i was not advised of this. Upon check in all went well as the staff was very friendly and accomadating. We then headed out and returned to gibaland around 7pm and needed to rest a bit as we was extremely exausted from a day of travelling. A lil later it started to rain and the water started seeping into the teepee and making it extremely hard to rest as it was falling onto the bed. I tried contacting the staff via whatsapp but had no response. I then tried getting hold of the security guard on site but could not find him either(keep in mind this is a small place). About 10 mins later worms started falling through the roof and this totalling set my wife and i off. We immediately opted to leave the place and seek accommodation elsewhere for the night. Upon leaving the rain started to come down even more and there was still no sight of the guard or any feedback from the host. We existed the area and was unable to find accommodation elsewhere so decided to head back home. The next morning i received a message from the host and had advised that she had forwarded my issue to the owner but apparently he is a busy business man and has more than one business to run and that i need to wait for his response for my refund. The service received was absolutely horrendous and unprofessional. To gibaland clearly they have no time for their customers! It has been many hours now with no response from the owner were as when i initially called to do a reservation he was very quick to respond and advise of the extra surcharges for bring own meals. I have videos of the rain water seeping into the tents. The screenshots of the conversation with the staff and also videos of the worms in the room

Shocking, shocking, shocking! I'd give it NO stars, if I was allowed to. A beautiful venue, but avoid having an accident/incident there, at any cost. No medically trained person in attendance at their medical centre. Richard eventually arrived, and we stood and watched him, as he continued on his personal call. Once finished, he simply waved us towards some old looking medication and invited us to "help yourselves". Whilst my 10 year old son's injury was minor, I was concerned about Giba Gorge MTB's inability to handle a more serious injury, should this occur, and felt it appropriate to bring it to the owner's, Mr. Chris Harburn's, attention. WHAT A MISTAKE! Mr. Harburn's response was dreadful! He was arrogant, condescending, and completely disinterested in what I had to say. If this is the way he talks to his paying customers, when simply bringing a problem to his attention, I shudder to think how he would address a more serious issue. Visit Giba Gorge MTB, if you must, but, in the event of you injuring yourself, don't expect Mr. Harburn, or his staff, to show any interest at all. This place is best avoided.

There are so many activities that takes place here, its an absolutely beautiful place to enjoy with friends and families. Team buildings are the greatest at this place. Love the mountain biking #BlackFriday
