My gate motor was ******, Entin my assurance dud let me know on the 10/12/2025 that Gido was assign to fix it, they did install it it was working when they left a couple of days after the gate motor starting to open and close by itself, I phone them they dit came to had a look at it, they said that we did it on the app the app did not work they said we had to install something else aswell we left it. I got anorther opinion from EPR they gave me a report to say that the welding came undone and the motor was not allign, I did send it to my insurance, I had to pay R495 for the report at EPR. Up to now nothing was done from their side to fix it. I will never ever use Gido gate motors again and will not recoment it to anybody

Absolute worst company to use, bad after sales service and seem to only care about getting your money out of you... Douglas Deerens is the rudest and most abrupt person you can ever come across in your life and shouldn't even be dealing with people.

Gido Gate Motors in the south of Joburg,what a terrible customer service these guys has,they installed a new garage motor in my house that only worked for 4days ,so it was opened 8times and it died.when I called them I was told long stories and when they eventually come out I was charged R800 again on top of full priced paid 4days ago. The Lady by Name of Jenny she was so rude to me and refused to talk to me, I quote " there is no future in having conversation with me" Please please stay away from them

We purchased 2 Centurion RDO from them on the 7 March 2022 . They came and installed one and said that they cannot install the second one due to technical issues. We requested for a refund on the second one. They said they will do the refund. The refund was never done. I called them and e-mailed them to follow up about the refund several times and they kept giving excuses. I asked for a manager or owner, they said they are never in the office. I asked for contact numbers, they said they are not allowed to give them out. No service exists what so ever. I threatened to send them a lawyers letter, They said I can do it, they dont care about it. I cant believe this is how they do business. Stay away from them!

This is my second time I dealt with Gido Gate Motors and I'm overall satisfied with their performance. I found the technician to be efficient and very friendly. Whilst there was some delays as a result of the rainy season, she had a wonderful approach in conveying the message and showed commitment to ensure that I get the service I needed.

My first time experience was great and efficient. It took just an hour for their technical personnel to process my order and the following day all was sorted out without any stress. Thank you
