on 29 November 2024, I contacted Glass on Demand for a vehicle from windscreen replacement that I needed to have done on the same day. I was happy that they could assist We communicated via whatsapp chat, and he sent me a quotation for R1900 (which he later deleted, before I had a chance to save it). The glass contractor arrived around 4pm to do the replacement and once finished, I then called Glass on Demand, who indicated that I need to do an EFT. I did the EFT from Standard Bank to FNB account. The contractor indicated that he can only leave once Glass on Demand transfers the funds to him. After a few minutes, the contractor calls Glass on Demand and asks him when he is sending the money, then GoD indicates that he did not receive it yet and proceeds to inform me that I should have done an EFT for immediate payment (which he did not specify initially). It became a back and forth with the Contractor not wanting to leave my property and the two of them having strong words over the phone. I then call the bank to ask them to reverse the EFT, but they informed me to complete a form and send a formal request, which could take up to 10 working days. GoD then says he will retract the invoice, I may do the EFT reversal and we can pay the Contractor only his fee (R1500), minus the mark-up of R400 which he adds to his price. My husband then paid the Contractor on the spot. The bank has since informed me that the recall of EFT was unsuccessful because the account has insufficient funds. In hindsight, I believe I was ****med and want to report this business for the poor manner in which this matter was handled and for *****ulently retaining my R1900. I will never recommend them to anyone and neither will I make use of their services again.

I received the worst customer service from glass on demand. The guy who operates their WhatsApp service is rude and has no customer service. They gotten my windscreen and after a week it cracked. After three weeks waiting for a new windscreen they gotten a new one which had a sticker stuck on this inside for a parking permit for a school I know nothing about. It is stuck in to such an extent that I can’t even remove it… when I called to ask why that sticker was there , they proceeded to tell me it’s because they “ thought “ it was from my old windscreen!!! When I complained their service consultant proceeded to tell me that “ I think I am special and that I don’t support black business” I cannot believe a service provider can speak to a paying customer like that!!! Now I have a sticker on the inside of my car that I cannot remove as well as a sticker on the front of the windscreen which states “ yo only be removed by owner” which I also can’t remove… I even took it to the car wash and they can’t remove it..useless , unprofessional and down right disrespectful! Do not, I repeat DO NOT use these people!!!

I am thoroughly impressed with my car window repairs. I contacted glass on demand yesterday, after having approached two other major car glass companies. I had no reply from the other two companies and they could not get any glass. Within 16 hours of contacting Glass on Demand, they contacted me and I had my car window replaced. I am so impressed with their service, friendlyness and their willingness to have assisted me. This at a fraction of the cost to what the other companies quoted me. God bless your beautiful souls... Proud South African. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful service..

The worst service I have had in my entire life. I recommend that you do not use them. First they quote me for a OEM and give me OEE brand and want to fight me about the differences and then my windscreen was not properly installed and I could hear air from the window. I asked to rectify the problem and they would not even come out that I would haveto go to their warehouse in Johannesburg city. The installation was not even a fault of mine but poor workmanship. On top of that they told me that they won't help me anymore. Disgusting behavior and very unprofessional.

I had a fantastic experience with people! I would absolutely recommend this people! I phoned and they were willing to send out someone the same day to fix my windscreen. I organized someone for the next day it was easy they were friendly and even sealed the cracked silicone around my windscreen for free without me asking. They were LITERALLY HALF PRICE of everywhere else I got quotes from including their callout fee. I have had no problems the windscreen is solid in the rain.
