Think twice before you buy a used vehicle from used cars at Godrich toyota . Selling bakkie with oil leaks and broken CAT and front brakes that is finished and back brakes that is also finished! After 80 point checks? And went through testing station?

I am writing to express my complete disappointment with the level of service I received during our recent visit to Godrich Toyota. We sent our Toyota Quantum in for a repair/check-up, during which it was identified that the wheel bearings needed replacement. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into a frustrating and unnecessarily prolonged experience, taking close to a week and a half to complete. From the start, communication was severely lacking. I had to personally follow up just to get an update, as no one from the dealership took the initiative to keep me informed. When I eventually made contact, I was told by the Service Manager that the bearings initially ordered were incorrect and had to be sent back, causing further delays. While mistakes can happen, the lack of proactive communication and accountability is unacceptable. After this, I was promised by the Service Manager that I would receive an update regarding the correct parts and an expected completion date. Once again, no one followed through. Two days passed with no feedback, forcing me to call again on a Saturday, only to be told that both the service manager and service advisor were unavailable. This left me with zero clarity on the status of my vehicle. I then had to wait until the following Monday to get any answers. When I finally spoke to the service manager, the matter was handled in a very dismissive manner. I was simply told that the vehicle would be ready that same day — with no apology, no acknowledgment of the delays, and no sense of accountability. Later that day, I received a call confirming that the vehicle was ready for collection and that the invoice had been sent. Once again, there was no apology or any attempt to address the poor service experience. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in how this situation was handled. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and complete absence of professionalism and accountability are unacceptable. This experience has significantly impacted my perception of Godrich Toyota, and I would not recommend their services based on how this matter was managed.

Received a notification from Toyota on a recall of the airbag and made a booking with Godrich Toyota for the replacement of the airbag at no cost. Arrived at Godrich early and booked in the vehicle. The lady asked if they can wash the vehicle and I clearly stated NO. Went to collect my vehicle just after 15h30 and discovered a crack approximately 20cm long right in the middle of my windscreen. Enquired what happened and Henk Faber the Service Manager walked out and said oh look a stone chip. Fact remains that there would be NO Crack if they washed the vehicle which I doubt caused it crack. My no cost turns into the replacement of my windscreen now at an inconvenient time. They did not even have the courtesy to call me and inform me that the windscreen had cracked while they were supposedly washing my vehicle which I did not request and stated as much. Furthermore - I am aware of 2 other stone chips which did not run so why this one right in the middle of the windscreen where they were working? I dispute the stone chip excuse.
