Rather use someone else.
We had lots of issues with Bruce during the build. Eventually he finished the pool. I did some improvements myself thereafter. Pool was finished in 2021. The paving around the started sagging this year. Eventually it collapsed. Compaction was not sufficient. Tried phoning Bruce, phone dead. Tried the number on FB and got hold of Andrew. Now is Bruce and Andrew the same person. He came by and asked him to make me a quotation for the repairs as well as some additional paving around the house. Two weeks later and he is avoiding calls and messages.

DO NOT HIRE!!!
Bruce Mutch cheats people out of money using different company names. We hired Bruce (when he was using his Blue Water Pools and Home Improvements company name) to do a koi pond renovation for us. After stupidly paying him over 90% of the total quote, he disappeared on us leaving us with an empty shell for the extension, a leak in the existing pond and no new filter, pump, fibre-glassing, water feature, glass tank feature, piping and connections, pond chemicals or any of the materials that we paid for. Even the brick work they did is still not finished being plastered. Just do a Google search on Bruce Mutch and you will see that he is a ****ster who has been cheating people for years using different company names! DO NOT HIRE THIS *****!!! Bruce Mutch cheats people out of money using different company names. We hired Bruce (when he was using his Blue Water Pools and Home Improvements company name) to do a koi pond renovation for us. It has now been 9 months since I paid Bruce my deposit, and I can with cer*****y say he stole my money. Bruce Mutch stole R10000 from me. I can't go to small claims court because I couldn't find an address where he's currently staying. I had to get a new pump through the Insurance, the chlorinator that he said he would replace is still on my system and he just ran off with my money. Bruce is a criminal.

Spare yourself the frustration - Do not use the services of Bruce Mutch
Please do not use the services of Bruce. He is only interested in receiving your deposit. After paying a 70% deposit in October (for paving supplies and services related to a patch of relining), no pavers were delivered. Rubble remained in my driveway for more than a week until I had to pay someone else to have it removed and I had to pay someone to do the paving. The fibre lining remains incomplete to this day and he will not respond to calls. Very unprofessional and extremely exhausting to deal with him. Spare yourself the frustration.

Stay away from the teary-eyed scammer.
Our friend Bruce is a scammer,con artist and all round sobbing baby who will steal your money and then blame his relationship with his wife,his difficulties in life,his troubles and strifes.....an abhorrent and spineless little man with no ethics whatsoever. He stole 20k from me and left me with a hole in the ground. His family cover for him,his wife writes the only positive reviews he has(what a joke!)He has changed company names more than he changes uhis underwear. Stay away from the the repulsive garden gnome named Bruce or be prepared to suffer his scamming skills.

Our friend Bruce is a scammer,con artist and all round sobbing baby who will steal your money and then blame his relationship with his wife,his difficulties in life,his troubles and strifes.....an abhorrent and spineless little man with no ethics whatsoever. Another customer done in!
I think Bruce only wants to do the big jobs. He had no problem taking R10000 from me for my smaller job, which he never completed. Up until today I am still waiting for him to install the chlorinator he promised to do in early July. I just feel bad for the people who introduced him to me, not knowing him for who he really is. He wanted to turn my "small" job into a pool revamp, a job that I just can not afford to have done. So instead of taking 2 days to finish my job properly, he just ghosted me. Thank you Bruce. You definitely pit new meaning to an old word..

Golden Signature Pools
<div>I wouldn't recommend Golden Signature Pools .The build is okay, but when it comes to the after sales service and honouring their warranties, this company is really shocking. I built my pool from scratch with them almost a year ago. There's a leak by the skimmer box, causing the pump not to work efficiently. The filter at the pump doesn't get full and so the pump struggles. This causes the creepy to get sluggish and eventually stop. There are bubbles at the pool skimmer which shouldn't be there. Confirming the leak. Additionally, the wall by the pool skimmer is still filling up with water. I've been made promises for almost a year now that it will be fixed. Every single time a date has been set literally nobody has pitched, without warning or attempts to reschedule on their end. I've had to call them on these days to find out if they're still coming to fix, only to be told 'sorry they're just really busy right now and can't make it'. This has happened on 11 occasions. Bruce sent me an email stating he would fix the pool by end April. Today, 3 May, having moved the date out, he did not pitch saying that he did not have a pool bladder available - it was being used on his other jobs. Today I give up asking and will have to use a different company to fix. I will also be suing him. I really would not recommend Golden Signature Pools. Terrible service. Very unprofessional. Aggressive man who has sent me numerous aggressive emails and Whatsapps - I have saved them all. They will leave you with a pool that doesn't work efficiently, parts that are broken, and never return. They are also not affiliated with any Spa or Pool governing body like the NSPI. Makes sense because then they'd have to comply with a code of conduct that promotes consumer goodwill and confidence in the pool industry. I suspect I have also been heavily overcharged after speaking to other service providers when searching for somebody to fix my pool's current problems - created, but never fixed, by Golden Signature Pools.</div>

I’m surprised that this business has so many positive reviews. Please please don’t use this company. We have been waiting almost a year for repairs to be done on our pool. Finally we received some commitment for them to come today and now they’re coming with more stories. They even offered an official letter that the pool will be fixed by end April, we’re now on May. Shocking shocking service. Please do not use them!
