Dear Se**** @ Good Hope Tyres Brackenfell - 7 Brass Street Thank you for your exemplary customer service and professionalism It was really notable, your engagement our call prior to me visiting your branch and then to the “check” being done on my vehicle I must add your transparency with me as a consumer and potential client is top notch, where you had the opportunity at two points to inform me of the price for “checking” You can not go around as an established company operating or handling consumers the way you did with me today Knowing the cost of living in today’s day and age, you should be ashamed of the manner in which business was conducted by yourself within your business You can simply not go ahead rendering a service or selling a product and not inform your client of the cost or price That is simply unprofessional To clear any misconception, this is NOT about having to pay It is your lack of upfront communication!

i took my car to have all 5 tyres replaced and fitted and had my brake pads done in the front and back wheels. I drove to work the next day and heard a funny "duk duk" sound and stopped and checked all my tyres to find my front left tyres nuts are not *****ed on at all and i could ***** it off with my fingers. I phoned them and told them about what i had experienced and was told, "I tell them everyday to make sure they tighten the wheels properly." I was also asked for my number so that he can contact me after he sees who worked on my car on the cameras. I have had no reponse and i just got an apology. I feel the matter wasn't addressed properly at all and I feel if i was in a accident or if my wheel just popped off the matter would've been much worse and they wouldn't of been liable at all.

Goodhope Tyres (Brackenfell) has the most pathetic service I have ever experienced and I will never recommend them to anyone including my friends and family members. On 16 April 2022, I bought brand new tyres from them for my old Toyota Yaris and asked them to sort out balancing and alignment. I trusted them. However, I discovered a week later that my vehicle wasn't stable on the road and couldn't figure out what could have been the problem. I suspected that the problem could be with my suspension because the tyres are new. So today, 20 April 2022, I took the car in for inspection and diagnostic assessment at the HiQ Cape Town Branch. They found that my rear rims are buckled and were shocked that Goodhope Tres could not detect it when they were doing alignment two or so weeks ago. I subsequently spoke to them about it because my life could have been placed at risk by their incompetence. A certain Willie, their incompetent technician, did a shoddy job for if I knew I would have done everything that day and they do not want to take responsibility for it.
