I would encourage anyone looking to run as far away from this place as possible....Money making scheme , they are not in it for you but themselves. Igrow , Greenpark , STSS...All slithering snakes in the grass. I stayed at Greenpark for a total of 3 months and I have just served notice at the end of month 3... Electricity is billed at almost double the Eskom rate. R4.05 / kWh( They have a mark up on electricity). No wonder they didn't want to share the utility bills before I moved in because they said it's all relative...Water is also billed separately...AT A MARK UP AS WELL. - instead of this service being a value added service like other properties , you pay monthly fees of R93 to have their dumb app on your phone so you can load electricity. - Facilities aren't that great compared to other Balwin properties. -Their so called gym is that steel **** you find in government parks. - Apartment quality is deteriorating by the minute , loose cupboard doors , stained walls , stained cracked tiles , Weak mirror hinges, you can see Structural cracks on buildings outside....lol not to mention your deposit will be liable for those defects before you go whether you did them or not. - Water pressure is weak. - hot water takes 10 hours to come out. you just run water till it decides to become hot- another contributor to high water costs. - Shower leaks water everywhere...i become a part time cleaner at least once a day after every shower. - when close taps , it continues to drip for another 2/3 seconds , no wonder the water bill is also a mess. - Pool is smaller than a fish pond. If you want to swim , be ready to not go higher than your knees.... you are actually better off taking a cold shower. - if you do take that shower , Drainage system releases a ****ty after smell in the house through out drains so you need to keep the door closed and windows open. I see they give generic responses like "*its billed to the homeowner at cost"* , fact of the matter i think is they are in it together *My opinion* , when you raise it ....no one does anything about it , it lands on deaf ears to protect their revenue together i guess... Agent (Igrow Wealth Investments) doesn't even bother responding. If you are looking in here , Whatever rental you see for a decent price , factor in another R2000 extra per month because of hidden costs they dont tell you about. I asked for a utility bill before I moved in and they played it down. Don't know if it's funny or cause for concern but u never see the same neighbor for longer than 2 months because people are leaving after seeing what's behind the curtains.... fortunately or unfortunately , i'm one of them. In short - moving in like WILL make your life worse , If you love yourself , don't ruin your mental health like that.

I absolutely regret buying a unit here. Rented for about 3 years before deciding to buy, infrastructure has become cheap, gardens non existent, basically a **** while the apartments are overpriced. Electricity and water has become ridiculous since switching to prepaid. Total ****! Exorbitant! I moved into my unit more than a year ago and to date there are no washing lines! How is a person supposed to live without a washing line?? Complained numerous times, as this is a huge inconvenience. Even asked if I can erect my own; blueticked. The only thing they care about is the aesthetical! They will fine you for stupid things while they fail to provide a mere washing line. I feel I must get legal advice. Tired of begging The biometrics at the entrance, total disaster. Seems half baked. Come night time i always have to use a flashlight from my phone, otherwise my face won't be recognized! Also with weather changes, most likely not to be recognized. Is that how biometrics are supposed to work? Also the cats running around are such an annoyance. If I wanted a cat in my yard or space, I definitely would get one. Very expensive staying here. Not having a laundry line just worsens the entire thing. But nobody cares.

Me and my fiance bought an apartment at balwin greenpark lifestyle estate boksburg about two months ago. Firstly we had to struggle with my fiance's access for about a month, eventually that got sorted. Now we are having a issue with our water where we are buying a thousand rand of water (about 10000l) for two people that's just ridiculous. When trying to get hold of the estate manager to sort this out, she never answers the phone and when she does answer there is an excuse. With the fibre we ordered to get the balwin fibre which is the only fibre you can order its keeps getting delayed because its pending at balwin infrastructure for 3 weeks already. The lack of service at balwin is honestly ridiculous.

Absolutely **********, don't ever buy a place there, an absolute prison, can't have a chair or a braai stand on your own balcony, curtains have to b a certain colour, and mind you this is my place that I have purchased! You get fined left right and centre! Don't let the appearance fool you! The building quality is ****! Ceiling collapse, walls cracked and don't let me start about the electricity! It's a dictatorship in there! Constantly picked on. Stay away guys trust me on this, the turn over on residents is insane, it's a nightmare.

This place is a rip off, they manually adjust your electricity bill without your permission and without letting you know, they charge you a daily fee for electricity on top of the amount you have to recharge every month, it is so ridiculous, my average consumption per day is about 10 kWh. then sudddenly it pushes up to 33 kWh for no apparent reason, even though the geyser is not on, stove not being used nor heater, im not at home most of the time, so how can my consumption shoot from an average of 10 to 33kWh? when i call them they come with all sorts of sad stories and cannot seem to fix the problem they created in the first place, they act as if its not their fault, this is thievery and scamming at its worst, this place must be reported, i will advise you do not move here as they will rip you off too and before you know youll end up paying R2000 for electricity as a single or couple this is pure sickening beware of this scamming place
