Hi there, I write this as very disappointed client. It's 10:45 and I'm sitting at work crying because of you guys. I purchased a vehicle from your Alberton dealership in 2022, I obted to buy a brand new vehicle as I didn't want a car that will give me problems where I'd be stuck on the side of the road because of mechanical issues but little did I know I was signing myself up for that. My vehicle has an issue where a light comes on the dashboard (an electrical) fault warning and loses power instantly when that happens. I took the vehicle in to your Alberton Dealership in January and the issues was said to have been resolved only for it to happen again in May. I once again returned it there in May and had to stay for a whole week without a vehicle. Once again the problem was said to be solved but tell me why I had the same issue today. It is really unfair on me as a client to be left stranded because of having no vehicle. Mind you I travel from Katlehong to Bryanston for work, which is a big factor why I bought a brand new vehicle in the first place. I can't be left without a car. This is the first I bought a car for myself and your vehicle has made this a scary and horrible experience. I'm just a girl and should not be having to deal with a car that randomly loses power while driving. This whole situation is a threat to my mental health and life. Can we please come up with a solution to this. I'm literally at my wits end

I have bought a few vehicles in my life and have never had such a horrible experience as with Group 1. Bought a vehicle cash and drove 400km in 2 weeks only to breakdown. After massive arguments with Leonard and George about the faulty vehicle, it took more that 2 weeks to get it back. This was honestly the worst experience in my life.

Purchasing my first car should have been a memorable and exciting experience, but unfortunately, dealing with Group 1 has been the worst experience imaginable. I regret choosing this dealership and cannot recommend it to anyone. The process of getting my car, an Urban Cruiser, was a complete nightmare from the start. I should have trusted my gut, but I loved the car and pushed through the frustrating proceedings. I took delivery of the car on 16 September but only received the license disk and plates on 19 November – almost three months later! This delay was inexcusable, especially since a temporary license is valid for only 21 days. For those three months, I was forced to drive around with an expired temporary license. Worse still, the license handler, Denis, repeatedly **** to me about the status of the license. Each time I asked, he gave a different date, and he never communicated updates unless I chased him down. The lack of communication throughout this process was appalling. The sales consultant who initially handled my purchase even resigned midway through the deal, leaving me in limbo. To make matters worse, the car was sold to me without a spare key, which they promised to resolve. I eventually had to take matters into my own hands, contacting Toyota for a quote and forwarding it to Group 1. Despite this, I’ve been completely ignored since. As someone who works in service delivery, I am shocked by the lack of professionalism and customer care demonstrated by this dealership. This experience has been nothing short of terrible. STAY AWAY FROM STELLENBOSCH GROUP 1!

I purchased a car with financing through Flexidrive. 18 months later im still battling to get the issues resolved as they claim its the finance house responsibility. Ive been to the NCC and the MIOBA. The dealer that wants the trade the car in now is adiment its the dealer I bought it from's responsiblity to resolve the issues that I reported to them from day 1. Its just hopeless ive now gone to the Head Office to get this resolved. My next stop is the newspaper.

Nissan Group1 Stellenbosch *****ulent And Miss repetition Its with a heavy heart and disappointment that i have to write this letter today. On Saturday 29 October 2022 i purchase a vehicle from Nissan Group 1 Stellenbosch from sales Person Mr William October. It was a Vw Golf 7R 2015 modle At the Retail place displaying on auto trader for R419 900.00.I was in contact with Mr October regarding the purchase of the vehicle. Mr Williams then brought the vehicle to me to view at My workplace in Belivelle. I then toke the vehicle for an test drive were they brought me a vehicle with no fuel in and me as the customer had to throw in fuel. I then toke the vehicle for n test drive were the vehicle then gave n heavy black smoke off. I then ask the sales person what was the reason of that smoke he said that the car had to much oil in and that was the reason for the smoke. Beside the smoke i was really happy with the vehicle at the time. Mr Williams the sales person insured me the wasnt any mechanical problems with the vehicle. We then started the process of financing the vehicle Mr Williams then told me could load an cashback on the vehicle as well to the value of R25 000.00.I then told him to go ahead with it as well and extras in the terms of warranty plans to the value of R33 420.00.I was then approved on the finance of the the vehicle with all add on's I then collect the vehicle on the 29th October 2022 and then we finalized the deal. I then had to take ownership of the vehicle and leave when i then dealt with the sales manager Mr Lance Hennis and FNI ( Financial Manger) Grant April i know asked regarding my cash back and was not answered and the temporary license page while waiting on my my license disc and number plates i was then told i must come back in the following week to collect the temporary. I then trusted in there word and toke the vehicle were i then went home. I also inspector the vehicle were on my contract i signed for 80 000km there was 82 000km on the Dashboard were lance then sed they will rectify and email it to me. The car then started to do the same by giving of the heavy black smoke and used a lot of oil i then contacted the sales person and could not get hold of him to inform him about the matter. I then went back to the dealership to find out that the sales person no longer works there. I was then told by Mr Lance Hennis that he would take over complete and see to my complaints. I then had to give the vehicle back to them to book in at NTT VW Paarl. Which was not even to weeks after i purchased the vehicle. The vehicle was then booked in on the 14/11/2022 which it then stood at NTT VW paarl for 2weeks after it was booked in by Mr Lance with odo reading 84,750 at 13:23 .i then tried making contact with Mr Lance who then told me he is waiting on the Dealer Principal Mr Johan La Grange. I then made contact with Mr Johan La Grange. And told him off how unhappy i was with the the service i was receiving fron his dealership Nissan Group1 Stellenbosch. He then insured me to have the matter resolved ASAP as he will take over. Other week went by and then i decided to make contact with NTT VW paarl myself were they then informed me. They have made contact with Johan La Grange and Lance Heunis inform him that the engine in the vehicle isnot the engine that is corresponding with the engine on the cars VIN number and registration paperwork and waiting on approval from them to strip and assess were the problems are coming fom. I then contact Mr Johan which i then told him NTT informed me about the engine that is not the engine that i suppose to be in the vehicle as per the paperwork/contract they gave me. He then told me i musnt stress he will sort it out. He then had the vehicle collected and informed me nothing about it and just contacted me to say the vehicle is done and they did n Sump replace on the vehicle i must collect it. I then collected the vehicle on the 9th December 2022 which i then again had to debate the fact for a temporary license because as the first day when i toke ownership of the vehicle i was pulled over by the police and warned for not having one. They then gave me one and sed i still have to wait for the disc and number plates. I then asked and whats gana happen regarding the fact that the engine in my vehicle isnot the engine that is on my contact or registration papers and that it is n faulty engine and why haven't i received my R25 000.00 Cash Back as yet. He then gave me long story to say that i never had an cashback but on the invoice it was shown that i do. I then waited for the number plates and license disc which then came on the 16/12/2022. Two weeks after that the vehicle started to give problems again as which i contact Mr Johan again and he told me its not his problem and that i should make use of my warranty plan and take the car to n RMI workshop i then debate with them for months and up and down to the dealership regarding the faulty engine and the engine that is in there is not the engine that is on the registration papers of the vehicle and my Cashback that they must pay me. I was very sick and in an out of hospital due to me having covid 19 because of my job that i have i then got fed up and was at the point of going to the authorities to report this matter. I then started to do my own investigation as iam a Police officers.i then went back to johan and made him aware of the fact that im going to the authorities because i have found out that the dealership has been ****iming me out of my cashback and that they were aware that the engine that is in the vehicle is not the same engine as on my registration papers. I went to Dekra Stellenbosch and found out that they processed the vehicle both times for roadworthy at Dekra Stellenbosch when the vehicle was in my possession dated 30/10/2022. I also then found out that the engine in the vehicle was an ****** and recovered engine that was in the vehicle which Johan faild to register on the paper work of the vehicle. also failed to take the vehicle to SAP13 Camp in stikland belivelle for micro doting and engine clearance. The vehicle is now still not mobile after 18months that it is in my position and after me having to fight this long and having to go thru heavy stones in my way. They are taking ownership partly for there wrong doings but still wants to *****ulent put all expenses regarding the vehicle on me as the client and is now saying that there is a cashback of R25 000.00 and just want me to rub all this under the carpet. Were i never failed to skip one payment on the installment of the vehicle which i had no enjoyment of at all from the time i had it. Its once again in there position and they are just doing the same thing again what they have been doing since i bought the vehicle. I even went to the point of getting the information of the Owner Marcel Swanepoel of Nissan Group1 by myself as Johan La grange refused to give me a form of making contact with Marcel. Its really bad that the Owner has be telephonicly in contact with me and on WhatsApp and its really sad to see how he doesnt take his customers and business interest and integrity to Heart IT IS REALLY SAD TO SEE HOW A WELL KNOW CAR NAME BRAND AND THERE STUFF ARE KNOWING AND WILLING TO **** PEOPLE OUT OF THERE HARD WORKED MONEY BY DOING THESE THINGS TO THEM. ITS REALLY SAD HOW NISSAN GROUP 1 CAN DO THIS TO THERE CUSTOMERS. REGARDS F N GRAIN
