I am extremely disappointed with the ********* sales practices at this branch. I met with a sales representative named Thulani to discuss a potential membership, during which I clearly explained that I live in Midrand, have an existing contract with Virgin Active, and would only consider joining if I permanently relocated to this area. I never paid an activation fee, nor did I provide consent to join.
Despite this, I was shocked to receive notifications that a tag was collected in my name and that my account is being debited. I have attempted to resolve this with Thulani twice, but he has ignored my requests. These unauthorized debit orders are now negatively impacting my credit score. This is highly unprofessional and borders on *****ulent. I am currently escalating this matter to management, as no one should be signed up for a contract without their explicit consent or payment.
