I never imagined being treated with such disregard by a company I trusted. I submitted a membership freeze request on 23 Feb and received no response, leaving me feeling ignored. When I tried to cancel, I was told I must physically go to Westgate Mall, even though your own terms say cancellations can be done by phone or email. On top of that, I’m being asked to pay a three-month penalty on a month-to-month membership. This experience has been frustrating, confusing, and disheartening. It’s not just about money, it’s about respect, honesty, and fair treatment. I hope management reflects on how this impacts real people, and takes responsibility so no one else has to go through the same.

Gym Company Princess/Westgate Roodepoort GP is the worst gym ever! Spinning class venue smells of sewage, you can literally see it sipping through the tiles and management have no intentions of fixing it. That Mpho lady is so disrespectful towards members when they complain, she thinks members are doing her a favour by being members of the gym. Health inspector must visit that gym and close it down. Then there is Trevor who thinks backing Mpho up in her mischievousness is cool. Those two were definitely picked from the streets coz it shows they have no management skills. The members are no longer interested and I hope Gym Company does something about Mpho and Trevor before the gym goes belly-up! Send that woman and that boy for short courses in customer service!

They never respond on WhatsApp and do just whatever they want. And if you want to cancel they are full of stories and refuse to do so and just continue taking your money. Pathetic attitude towards members and just don't care about them. Regret ever joining this place.

I cancelled my membership at Gym Company last year April 2025 it is now March 2026 and the membership is still not cancelled! Infact they have been harrasing me and *****ulently debting my account. I have now had to escalate this matter with the CGS ombudsman. DONT DO IT! Biggest mistake of my life.

I have been trying to cancel my membership with Gym Company since January 2026. Despite multiple calls and emails I have received no response or assistance. It’s extremely frustrating that such a simple request is being ignored, worse part they keep debiting my account. Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend to anyone!!

I joined the gym Company Pinetown April 2022 and fully paid all my 3 years . I have been requesting to cancel and they keep on debitting me every month ruining my credit score . I always send my cancellation form but no one helps me

Gym Company's false advertising of its month to month gym contract is getting out of hand, once you get in theres not getting out of that contract, instead you will accumulate interest on your account once you try to cancel it, they will ignore you till you owe them thousands. If you see that R199 advert dont get tempted its a ****.
