Bought a Brand New Suzuki Gixxer 150 for my daughter's 18th last year August. Took delivery, something was wrong they came and collected their faulty bike, wrote it off and sent it back and said sorry your problem, leaving me to pay off something that is in pieces, their fault, in their possession when destroyed, they don't care, they make enough money to tell you it's not their problem.

On 23 August 2025, I bought Honda WR-V 1.2 Confort 2021 from the Jetour Menlyn branch. I was excited about the transaction and new car. Little did I know that my happiness would be cut short. On the the 19 September 2025 I drove from Home town Kwaggafontein to Pretoria return trip that consist total 130km and when I was kilometers away from home I experienced this terrible sound from the engen and the car didn't want to move. On the 20th of September 2025 morning, around 9h00, I contacted Tshiamo, who was my sales assistant, and informed him about the incident. He promised to send the Technians to have a look at the car, I told him that I wanted to cancel the transaction because the is no way that I would accept a faulty car. Indeed, today, on 23 September, he sent the Technician to have a look on the vehicle. I was informed by the technician that their is a problem with the Tension Belt and other parts. I then sent an email to Phumla Madondo informing her that I want to cancel the transaction since well the car didn't meet my expectations. I received an email from their principal dealership Bennie Welgemoed informing me that they will fix the car and they won't cancel the transaction and even thou I can call the bank is going to refer me back to them and there is no way that they cancel the Transaction. Indeed I call the Absa bank and I was refered to Lincoln Magale whose working for ABSA bank whose working as Business Developer. I emailed him about my situation Vs cancelation. I explained to Bennie Welgemoed and Tshiamo that I want to cancel the transaction since well I am confortable to drive that Honda WR-V vs been faulty however they rejected my request. According Consumer Protection " 30 days If a car is faulty or misrepresented, you're entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund within the first 30 days of purchase. This Act covers new and used cars" They told me to drive and stuck with Faulty car. I then sent an email to : Lincoln Magale ABSA Business Development Officer – Extenal Sales however no cancelation of transaction was granted. I don't want that Vehicle anylonger. But its seem like everyone is Failing me. Basically according to Bennie Welgemoed and Tshiamo I must be stuck with the Vehicle that is faulty. #Honda #Hatfield Motors #ABSA Vehicle finance.

I’ve had a shocking experience with Hatfield Audi Rivonia over a simple coolant warning I flagged when I brought in my Audi S3 in April 2025. Despite four separate visits, thousands of rands, and constant back-and-forth, the issue is still unresolved — and I received the same warning yet again at the beginning of July. What makes it worse: • Promised follow-ups that never happened, • Ignored messages • Service advisors discovering “new” issues every time I brought the car in, • Engine misfiring and oil in spark plugs — problems that only appeared after they worked on the car, • Excuses, delays, and zero accountability. I’ve lost complete trust in Audi Rivonia and, frankly, the Hatfield Group as a whole. If this is how they handle long-time Audi owners, I’d hate to see how they treat new customers. I’ve submitted a formal complaint, but I’m sharing this publicly so others can be warned. Stay away.

Extremely disappointed – I wish I could give zero stars. I am asking for answers. My brand new Mahindra Bolero — which we’ve had for less than a year — has a failed diesel pump. The warranty claim was declined because of so-called “contaminated diesel,” based on particles found during testing. But here’s the issue: the diesel was purchased from a national, reputable filling station. Now I’ve been quoted R95,000 to replace the pump — nearly half the value of a brand new Bolero. That’s outrageous. Meanwhile, I’ve been left without my business’s primary vehicle for over a month, making it nearly impossible to operate. The impact has been devastating. This has been one of the worst purchasing experiences of my life, and I feel completely unsupported by both the dealership and Mahindra South Africa. I expected better.

Special thank you to Clevon Lloyd Moonsamy at Ford Fourways for the assistance on a very difficult issue. He went above and beyond dealing with another dealership and warranty plan to resolve my issue.

My car was registered but unlicensed when I purchased it in July 2024; we spent more than R12,000 on admission and registration. I was instructed to have the car inspected for roadworthiness and license. In other words, I have to pay for the roadworthy and license disk once more. The manager was busy when I called and never returned my call. Note that there are a lot of Ford dealerships; avoid purchasing from Ford Midrand. The attitude in that dealership is unbelievable. I know exactly what I paid for, and they denigrate people. This is not my first incident with the dealership they will ignore you & treat you like a fool
