Faulty Phone from Hi Vaal mall
Faulty Phone I purchased a mobile phone from your store in September 2025. At the time of purchase, the sales consultant did not open the box to verify the condition of the device, and I left with the phone sealed. After one week, when I opened the phone and attempted to insert my SIM card, the SIM/SD card tray broke and the SIM card became stuck inside. I returned the phone to your store in early October 2025, well within the six‑month warranty period stated in your terms and conditions. Since then, I have received inconsistent information from different consultants regarding the warranty. One consultant confirmed that the phone was still under warranty and advised that it would be sent for investigation. However, I have not received any feedback or updates since leaving the phone at the store in October

Misled
I went to hi store vaal mall, to lay buy a phone on the 2nd November. The guy named Benjamin told me they don't do laybuy and recommended payjoy without explaining the T&C and not even telling me payment duration of the phone. The phone cost R7000 and I've already made payment of R5000+ now I'm told my remaining balance is R7450

Refusal to give customer feedback
Worst experience I have had at any Hi store in the history of ever! Returned a faulty powerbank a month ago already. Sales person advised it would take 21 days for the the device to be inspected before a refund or exhange can be done. It has been much more than 21 days and not even an email or call from them. I have been to the store 3 times and the reluctance from the staff, to assist me has been frustrating to say the least. Absolutely no regard for their customers. How is it possible that the sales person can take my device back say it is collected and cant even show me proof that it has been collected. Nor does any effort to even communicate feedback.
