Home design furniture are ****mers posing as a legit business
If I could could rate them no stars or a zero i would, placed my order 2 weeks ago but still have not received my order. I have sent whatsapps emails and even called, no response. I just want my money back so i can look for a couch else where. This is absolutely terrible service, its appalling even for people to do this. ****ming people like this is just evil!! I so regret buying from them when there was another store i could have gone to but i loved their couches and was looking for that specific colour. They should be investigated!!

Misrepresentation and Failure to deliver
I purchased chairs from Home Design Furnitures with the promise of delivery within 5 business days. That deadline passed with no delivery and no proper communication, despite several attempts to get an update. After the delay, the company unexpectedly demanded a “refundable delivery insurance” fee of R1,499 before delivery — a charge that was never disclosed at the time of purchase. Due to: - Failure to deliver within the agreed time, - Lack of communication, - And the sudden request for an undisclosed additional payment. I cancelled the order and requested a full refund. After multiple call attempts, across various days, for the refund update, the company has not responded, and there appear to be no alternative contact details to resolve the matter. This situation raises serious concerns about the legitimacy of the business, and I am prepared to escalate the issue to consumer protection authorities and the police if my refund is not processed.

Beware of Home design Furnisher's
We order a sofa from this company on 5 November 2025 and were told delivery would be in 2 weeks. They then also charged us R2499 insurance on delivery which like a fool I paid thinking our sofa was going to arrive. This company is a scan - the account for the deposit is in a private individual's name - not the company name as on the invoice. We have contacted the ***** department at Nedbank and also laid a claim of theft although I doubt we'll ever see our money. Just posting this so that others may not get taken in by them. Very sorry as they offered the exact design we were looking for. Beware. They come up as a company when you use your search engine looking for sofa's or other furniture.

Disgusting !!!! The customer service is extremely bad .No responses to emails,calls nor what’s app once they get your payment .Order get acknowledged then they go silent .i have waiting for my order its been a week now. I just want my refund at this point .You service is bad .I will buy at other retailers.I regret entrusting you with my couch need.
