As cheap as they are when issues happen, like most hosting companies in SA, you wait for assistance. A certain level of uptime is expected and when multiple mailboxes goes offline for no reason and I have to wait more than 24 hours for support then that is a major issue. Especially with contracts in place relying on those mailboxes. I cannot access my mail, a hosting provider is unable to help me access my mail they host and support cannot help. This is a huge problem and not the first time this has happened with hostking. Some incompetence working there.

A certain level of uptime is expected and when multiple mailboxes goes offline for no reason and I have to wait more than 24 hours for support then that is a major issue. Especially with contracts in place relying on those mailboxes. I cannot access my mail, a hosting provider is unable to help me access my mail they host and support cannot help. This is a huge problem and not the first time this has happened with hostking. Some incompetence working there.

Hostking used to be THE best hosting company, and I have referred numerous people to them. However, I have been struggling for more than a month to get my email address for my new domain sorted. I keep getting messages regarding "the server cannot be reached", yet they insist the fault is on my side. If so, why don't you then help me sort it out, instead of saying "go and see if you can't fix it from your side." No help at all. After various requests for help, I'll be moving my three domains to another host.

I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the ongoing lack of support I’ve received regarding a technical issue on my website, lenganephotography.co.za. For several weeks now, I’ve been reaching out for assistance and have spoken with Dean, Darren, and Shakira unfortunately, none of them have been able to resolve the issue. I decided to send to all the emails I have received from your company this matter. Each time I was advised to contact the design team, but despite my repeated requests, I was never provided with the necessary contact details. This has left me incredibly frustrated, especially as the issue continues to impact my business. I host websites for high-profile clients in South Africa, and delays of this nature reflect very poorly on me. I’ve explained that the issue is not on my end it needs to be investigated from your side. We are now approaching a month without resolution. The issue: On mobile devices, the hamburger menu is unresponsive or takes up to 30 minutes to respond. Other buttons (such as view buttons) are also extremely delayed. I have checked the links and structure on my side, and everything appears to be in order. This is urgent potential clients cannot view my portfolio, which is directly affecting my ability to secure work. How can I convince others to trust me with their websites if I can’t get mine fixed, especially with support that is supposed to be responsive? If this issue cannot be resolved immediately, I will unfortunately be left with no choice but to move my services to another hosting provider. I need a proper technical assessment and a clear timeline for resolution today. Please treat this matter as urgent and get back to me as soon as possible. This used to be the best hosting company in 2020 but since 2023 they have increased prices and with the price increase came a MAJOR decrease in service. I have been experiencing issues upon issues and instead of the friendly service we used to receive, we are now met with attitude from all the agents. I am definitely looking to move all my domains to another company soon

For the past months I have been struggling with my website hosting company @HostkingWebHost . I truly regret the day I shared my bank details with this company. They have been getting into my bank account everyday debiting money when I have paid them my monthly subscriptions. Every month I incur bank charges of over R200 because they get into my account every day yet we made an arrangement that I will pay them via electronic transfer which is the case. I spoke to different consultants who keep promising that they have stopped the irregularities yet to date I’m still facing the same situation.
