Helgard Barkhuizen advertised my property that is not on sale without my consent. Upon being confronted, a mere sickening response was given. ****** crooks!

We have a unit in Northern Views available for rental. We contacted Huizenmark (Wynand Labuschagne) on 12 October to assist with the rental of the property that will be available 1 December 2021. Wynand assured us that he has a list of potential people interested and there is no need for us to worry about getting tenants for the 1st of December 2021. On the 22nd of November we still haven’t heard anything from Wynand, we contacted him for feedback, and he promised to send through the contract of the potential tenant. On the 25th of November still no feedback or a contract was received, I contacted Wynand once again requesting to please provide feedback on the progress of the rental. Once again empty promises!! From 26 – end of November I contacted Wynand several times to please give me some sort of feedback, empty promises once again! I explained to him that we cannot sit without tenants for an entire month and this over December, but clearly, he couldn’t care less!! On 30 November we received a contract of a potential tenant to move into the unit on the 15th – only to find out the next day he will only be moving in, in January. Today I decided to approach alternative companies and to also list the property myself. The sad part is, if I only knew Huizenmark was so bad I would have approached a few other companies as well and also listed the unit myself. Now we sit with an empty unit over December and Huizenmark couldn’t care less. I don’t understand if he struggled to get tenants why wasn’t he honest from the beginning but instead he lied and said, I quote; it’s a very popular estate, I have a list of potential tenants, I will definitely be able to find tenants for the 1st of December!!! This is one of the worst experiences I ever had with a property rental company!! Its disgusting!!!

Huizemark especially Millicent Mahlase, she is such a disappointed. During house viewing she was on point and I was impressed. But on the day of getting house keys, the disappointment I had to deal with on the condition of the house and all the faulty electrical connections was unbearable. She doesn't check the houses she sell with the sellers properly. When you ask what happened, she will tell you that she made a follow up telephonically and took the seller's word that all the stuff is fixed. Just know you will like a house she is selling with a few stuff that needs fixing and you ask that she speaks to the seller tl fix. 3 months down the line nothing is fixed. If you buy a house that she says its from a developer that buy house and fix reselling, just run. The developer (mpho) he has alot of excuses why he couldn't fix that and that. He will send someone incompetent to fix something and causes even more damages to your house.

I would not recommend that you use them to buy a house. We have been in the process of buying a house that is still in development. The realtor on the house is Helgard and he has delivered us with the worst service. When we contact him, he ignores calls and he reads messages without replying. We engage with the lawyers dealing with the registration of the property more than Helgard the realtor because he simply chooses to not reply. How hard is it to give and update or tell someone there is not update to give? We don't contact him often but the few times we do, we would like a simple reply but instead he will ignore the clients. I would not recommend this company or at least Helgard as a realtor. This journey has been nothing but frustration and headaches.

If you're looking to buy a house nor let even rent. Never use this company. They are dishonest in their service. I approach them wanting to see if i can afford a property. It is their strategy to put u in a corner to take their property or demand commission fee because they make you sign documents they dont bother to explain. Be careful and alert when dealing with Harry Thlale and even the manager Mr Kobus du Plessis. This people are heartless and only care about themselves.

When I told a friend and neighbour about my intention to sell my agricultural smallholding, he referred me to Louis van Rensburg an estate agent who had approached him recently. When my wife and I contacted Louis during the first months of 2019, he viewed and assessed my property and proposed a selling price. He also explained the nature and status of the market for my property. Within days of this discussion with Louis, he started bringing potential buyers to view my property. When we received a few offers to purchase, Louis advised us on the pitfalls and risks of each. Relying on his advice, we accepted an offer from a young couple in April 2019. Louis advised us on the process and requirements for selling our property. While he told us of the conveyancing attorneys he used and advantages of their services, he never insisted on using them. When the attorneys requested an electrical CoC, Louis recommended a registered wireman who had dealt with several of his properties previously. We elected to accept Louis’ recommendations and by June were in the process of transferring ownership. There were a few delays due to bank assessors, electrical certification, payment of fees, etc. On 28 August the attorneys informed me that the property had been registered in the buyers’ names and on the 6th of September we handed the keys to the new owners. Throughout the process, Louis monitored progress and queried delays and resolved any questions. No other agent came close to Louis’ service. I can happily recommend Louis for his diligence, knowledge, promptness and determination in supporting the sale of my property particularly during a time when the market is poor.
