Best log fire pizzas in town with a ****tail and sea view at their Sundowner bar and then the main restaurant. From breakfast to lunch, you name it🤌 Best food in town, attention to every detail.

Absolutely amazing peaceful setting looking at the sea. Food is really tasty! Tranquil environment. Will recommend them for any occasion. Staff is friendly and professional service. THANK YOU ❤️

Please look after Brighto and Patric in you reeds restaurant. They are great employees and are very pleasant to have around. The lodge itself is not as well looked after as before. We use to call it our second home but a lot have changed and this the reason we dont do a lot of break aways anymore. The prices also whent up a lot. And nothing is better than it was. Come on I know you can make it beautiful again.

I booked a stay at Imvubu Lodge for 5 days. I then cancelled 1 day. They agreed to cancel and then said nothing( no info given about the 1 days money). 5 days or so later I asked if I can use the 1 days credit for meals at their restaurant, they agreed. I was not told how much is my credit, this is if they are giving me the full days amount or not. I was not told that the condition for this is for me to use the full amount at their restaurant . We ate twice at the restaurant 2 breakfast and 2 dinners and the food was not good. At one point the ribs were burnt, we then decided not to eat there anymore. We checked out on the 1st of Jan 2019. 5 days later I requested an invoice . On the invoice there was an item "room revenue " with an amount then on balance 0. I asked what is the room revenue item. I was told its a balance left which I can use on my next visit. I told them I don't know when will I visit or if will ever visit again. I requested the credit balance to be refunded to me. Then they told me I was supposed to have used the full amount, but I was not told that. Also they then sent me their cancellation policy. Why agree to credit and even use the credit then when I query the balance Im told about the policy?. Why was I not given the conditions of the credit on arrival so that I can use it all? When I asked why did I have to request my invoice 6 days later I was told its because I checked out before their office open. But they have my email address and they received the keys from the security.?

I Would not Recommend To any Couple wanting to get married , This is a Terrible Venue. We Booked and Paid For this Venue Well in Advanced and Have been Assisted by 3 Different Wedding planners , This we only found out because we phoned them after numerous months not hearing anything from them as to when we could come and discuss anything Regarding Wedding arrangements that were made. The First 2 Wedding Planners who assisted us Gave us a Whole Breakdown of what they were offering us , From Decor to Catering . But We Were soon to learn our Fate, 2 Months To the wedding date we managed to get hold of imvubu to Find out what is going on , To Find that both Planners had left and that we had to meet with the 3rd whom was the head chef. There they told us that they will only provide the venue , Food and Some Decor . Which was Okay We made a plan with the decor ourselves and worked to 11 PM a day before the wedding to set everything up. The Night of the wedding ..... We were promised that the food would be brought to the tables which was not done , There was a Buffet , The Garden chapel that we Paid FOR was no More , They Moved our Ceremony inside and Refused to Refund us For this , We Paid For Food To be Specially Made for the children attending the wedding , Which They Forgot To Make and Serve , So The Children Were Forced To Eat Spinach And This Could not enjoy themselves as much as the adults did , i Went TO management to find out about the food for the children to find that it was not even prepared . I Scheduled a meeting with the General Woman after the wedding To Discuss this , To My finding when i Got there i was politely invited into her office . I was offered a Complimentary Room for the night off the wedding which we took Which i Have On Paper , She Told me this was not the case and they had to charge me for it , She refused to take responsibility for the children's food which was not ever prepared saying it was not her staff that was at fault even though i was charged for this and that i paid for it. Then i Took up the Garden Chapel With her as well that they were supposed to contact us if they had changed anything which they did not , After Saying that we did not utilize the chapel as i paid for it i requested a refund for it which she rudely Refused and said that it was not her fault. The Food We Had Received was not as it was introduced to us on the tasting , and she also refused to Listen to reason. They set the Venue up for 57 Guests so we Requested an extra 3 Chairs Just to Make The Decor work in an Equal manner , Then She Continued to mention that there was more Guests than Paid For To Which i objected , As only 42 Guests had arrived , There is CCTV in the hall and all over the Imvubu Premises and when Requested to Footage to Prove my Statement She Said to me that the CCTV was not in Working ORDER. Very Bad Experience for a Day that Was supposed to be your Best Day Of your Life, Future Couples Please Be Careful do not Ruin Your Perfect Day With a place and people like this that only worry about the money Go into Their pocket and not the Consumer .

<p>This is, simply put, THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. It's Tuesday morning just before 09h00, my wife and I are still in bed, reason? No water! Can't use the toilet, can't brush our teeth, can't even have a drink of water. We have been here since Friday. We are booked in to their "Honeymoon Suite" make no mistake very nice room but since we have arrived we have been met with incompetent staff that put the phone down in your ear and are rude, a general manager that wants nothing more that to challenge every complaint, quite aggressively I might add, because her staff is never wrong, our shower in the room hasn’t worked properly since we have arrived, reported it the 1st day and was told nothing they can do, municipality issue, reported it the 3rd day as the problem had got worse, maintenance came to the room and I showed them the problem, they agreed that there was a problem and assured me it would be rectified. Called the receptionist that afternoon to find out if the problem was solved, I was told he doesn't know but will find out and call me back immediately. One hour later, still no call back, I call again, reception still haven't called maintenance because they don't have their numbers. I ask to speak with the "reservations manager" and the phone is put down in my ear. I call back, they hear it's me and again drop the phone in my ear. Arrive Back at our room, now the shower doesn't work at all, they send maintenance again, try and do a quick fix, temporarily gets something right, we leave for a night out and upon out return, no water at all, I call this morning and all I get again is “sorry nothing they can do” they will have to move us to a different room, a massive downgrade I might add and the room have a tiny shower in that I can't fit in. After much fighting they agree to put us in a family unit, still a big downgrade but a bit nicer, so we pack up and move rooms, we head out to the beach for the day, upon our arrival back at our room my son want to go shower, NO HOT WATER!!!!!!!! I immediately call reception again. They say they will send maintenance. One hour later, still nothing. We have to drive back 750 Km to Pretoria the next day and again we can’t get clean. I call the reception again and ask that the manager also please come and see me. As i put down the phone maintenance finally arrives. He opens the hot water tap and says the will have to get all his tools and climb into the roof and see what’s going on, he believes it to be the thermostat or the element it could take up to 2 hours, it is 21h30 now. He disappears to fetch his tools. An hour goes past the manager arrives at the unit and asks me were the handyman is as his tools are outside, I reply that I haven’t seen him since he said he was going to fetch his tools. She put another rooms key on the counter and says we can go and shower there, I confront her angrily as to why the room was not checked before moving us , she has no answer for me and walks off. Another 20 minutes pass still no handy man. I call the manager again, she says he was just with her, he has told her that he told me he can only fix it in the morning, I tell her he is lying he hasn’t been to the room at all, she says she will send him immediately. At about 10h45 they finally arrive back at the and when I ask him why he lied he had no answer for me, he proceeds to start to repair the geyser. About 20 minutes in to the exercise I hear water dripping, I ask him where it is coming from he says not to worry, it is running outside the room down a drainage pipe so I ignore it, I get up to use the bathroom and as I walk in to my bed room the water is pouring out of the ceiling and the room is flooded. I again call the manager she says there is nothing she can do and sends a member of her staff to come and mop up. My wife and I ended up having to sleep in that wet mouldy smelling room for the night. Next morning upon check out I was told that they could not compensate me or refund me in any way for all the trouble as the GM was away, she would call me as soon as she returns on the Friday, and this was on the Wednesday. As to this date NO ONE has called me to make any sort of apology or amends.<br /> <br /> My Wife and I have been very fortunate to have stayed in very many guesthouses, hotels, lodges of all different ratings and standards but this is BUT THIS IS BY FAR THE WORSE SERVICE I HAVE EVERY EXPERIENCED BAR NONE!!!!!!!!!! What makes it worse is that it is actually such a nice place, but the incompetence of the management and staff makes it unlivable. SO SAD! </p>
