Bad Service
Bad Service. I have been trying to get a replacement toner for our printer we have a service agreement with Itec since 13 May 2025. (Today is 21 August 2025) When I call - there is no answer and my emails are also ignored.

Bad Service

ITEC/M FILES - BLATANT NO TRANSPARENCY
Our company signed a contract with ITEC for a programme to help us with out filing, called M Files. We had meetings with them to tell them what we needed. Not being fami**** with these types of programmes we re**** on ITEC to guide us and eventually the system was installed 3 years ago. YES, we signed the contract, no it was not explained to us as expected. Our mistake. We have been paying and not being able to use the system as it is not compatible with our systems at all. We contacted them 2 months after but we were told we had to buy the system by settlement or face being put on credit bureau. Our contract ended in July but because we did not give 3 months notice, we are tied into paying until 2025. Surely this fine print should have been pointed out to us as their customers. We have paid for now, over 3 years R2821pm

Avoid - It will cost you your time & money
Just do yourself a favour and work with anyone else. Itec provides my fibre optics and it has been down numerous times, which is fine but every time it takes about 3/4 days (once 3 weeks) and they expect you to pay R1200 every time to rectify a service I am not receiving but paying for.

Avoid - It will cost you your time & money

Itec. A company filled with duplicity.
Itec has Directors that do not honour their debt in their private businesses but hold their clients to theirs. There is no reason to be intimidated by Itec, and if you can't make a payment, contact me. John Considine and Gavin Meyer are the directors who do not honour their debts.

Itec. A company filled with duplicity.
Itec has Directors that do not honour their debt in their private businesses but hold their clients to theirs. There is no reason to be intimidated by Itec, and if you can't make a payment, contact me. John Considine and Gavin Meyer are the directors who do not honour their debts.

Itec Converge
I contacted Itec on the 19 January about a printer for a school in northwest. The response was quick, Jacob really helped me fill in the forms and sign the contract and all was good.. I was assured that after the contract is signed it will only take 2 to 3 days for the printer to be delivered at the school.. I am still waiting for the printer. I have been told twice the printer is coming today. The printer was supposed to be delivered on the 14 February 2023 I was told and as am waiting patiently I received a call and they told me that the has been a mistake the printer is couriered @ Hebron in Capetown. The 1 thing that annoys me is being taken for a fool because 13 February 2023 the machine was loaded on the the Van I was told and it was coming to Hebron (North West) not Capetown now all of sudden the machine is been delivered in Capetown. I am very disappointed in the service I'm getting from Itec and they came highly recommended hence I only contacted them for a big printer...

Money crooks
One star is way to much for the excuse of a company. Since 2019 am I struggling to get the printer working. It is a constant paper jam and a scan jam. The service contract was in place but the terms of the service agreement were not even met. Every month Itec want the rental amount and the printing cost money. Due to the printer not even working and cannot be uses at all the printing charges is ridiculous. I mean the cost of one page between R250 and R600. If you send in query you will be lied to like you have never seen before. you never done this or that, but worst of all, you send them the evidence. The evidence will just be ignored. They are a bunch of crooks whose work it is to lie from the morning till the evening. How on earth can you live with yourself? Four years later and the saga just carry on. They can close their doors because they are actually useless. They cannot even fix there own printers but just want the money. They should be ashamed of themselves.

As per all the other comments, ITEC is a company you should never do business with. As you can see they dont reply to any of the comments on this forum as they have no answer. My contract terminated.I gave them due notice and yet three months later they are still debiting my account. Here is the kicker, they send numerous mails to the point of hounding you to get their monthly printer figures but are completely silent when contract ends and you try to contact them. Its disgusting and illegal .This company must avoided at all costs
