Urgent Complaint – Expired Mielie Meal Purchased
Good day, I would like to raise a serious concern regarding a recent purchase made at Shoprite Ndofaya Mall. I bought a 5kg bag of mielie meal on Sunday, and by Wednesday, the product had already expired and was found to contain string-like elements and worms and visible contamination. This posed a significant health risk, and we had no choice but to dispose of the product to avoid potential illness. This situation is extremely concerning, as selling expired and contaminated food is unacceptable and poses a serious health hazard to consumers. I kindly request that this matter be urgently investigated, and I would appreciate feedback on how this issue will be resolved. As our money went down the drain Thank you, and I look forward to your prompt response. Kind regards,

Pink foreign object inside the maize meal
We recently purchased Iwisa Maize Meal from Shoprite Gezina, and while cooking today, I was shocked to discover a pink, round substance in the pot. Further inspection of the bag revealed more of these foreign objects. I've taken pictures as evidence. Notably, the product's expiry date is September 15, 2026. I'm extremely disappointed, as Iwisa was previously my go-to maize meal brand. What's going on, Iwisa?

Food poisoning
Since I have report the matter that could have harmed and my family because of food poisoning they still havent communicated with me finding pantry moth larvae inside their porridge and we even consumed it my ref CAS-2026-X7T2W9

Iwisa maize meal worms inside pantry moth larvae
Yesterday I bought a 1kg maize meal cooked it and ate with my family because we trusted the brand this morning again we try to make soft porridge only to realise this pack had pantry moth larvae in those small worms please assist even sent them an email attached maize picture and slip where I bought it
