Negative review on first time experience with agency
An estate agent in the Phoenix branch told my landlord to keep my entire deposit, which is against the law (I gave proper advanced notice of 30 days and broke nothing in the house). They said the land lord keeping the deposit is part of the lease. When questioning the agent, they told me "The money is with your land lord, not with us, go speak to them". The agent said the landlord keeping the whole deposit is part of the lease which I know is lie. The landlord and I had to negotiate, I lost some of my deposit for no reason. On top of that they took over a day to send my land lord the exit report.

Great Service Sherwin Richards. You done us well.
Thank you Sherwin Richards for attending to the Management of my property & Finally the sale of our family home. You have carried us through this season. It was not the best but you gave your all. Ceo Jazmax-Laven Pillay
Update on post that was not live before.... CEO Laven Pillay from Jazmax had mutually terminated our agreement.I have not found any proof of that however i trust his actions by going back a long time. I do apologise for any Harm caused to Jazmax and i will recomend the team at any given time. Mr Laven Pillay had continously supported my business throughout the years and i will definatly recommend his team to anyone.

Do not trust the CEO from Jazmax -Laven Pillay He does not keep to his word as a CEO. He has signed a deal with my company 3 years ago and has missed a payment. I decided to sell my buisness due to hardships. Laven denied his commitment when i requested hm to settle his bill before my sale. Instead he opted for my attorney to contact him. He denied commitment altho we have a signed agreement. Do not work with the company as they can lie about everything else. Rather go to wakefields/remax etc... Much more trust worthy and also truthful.

Do not trust the CEO from Jazmax -Laven Pillay He does not keep to his word as a CEO. He has signed a deal with my company 3 years ago and has missed a payment. Jazmax agents assume that any customer is another agent trying to scoop their business or a dishonest person trying to cut them out of their commissions. Prospective tenants have to provide documentation before viewing a property!! A certain landlord was prevented from having a very good tenant because of their suspicion. The rude agent actually hung up on the call twice. Please don't lease your homes with them!!

Jazmax Umhlanga wont return deposit
Rented a property through Jazmax for my Niece in Durban North through Jazmax Umhlanga. No copy of lease signed by Landlord received despite many requests. After a few months she was given notice to vacate as she had 'broken the rules of use of the common area'. She was storing some boxes for a friend in her (outdoors) laundry area. Again asked for a copy of said rules as it was never sent. The 'breach of rules' was rectified so requested the Notice to vacate' rescindment in writing. Again, nothing received, so she vacated at the end of the month. Have been trying to get deposit returned for 4 months. Jazmax sat the deposit is with the landlord but refuse to supply landlord details, phone calls never answered but always promise to return calls and never do. Avoid this company at all costs.
