I highly recommend that you visit JD Kustom in Woodmead, Johannesburg. They are absolutely amazing, from their professional approach and customer service. Ask for Sean Blackman when you go there. Sean takes customer service to a very different level, he goes out of his way to assist and always so accommodating and understanding. Actually all the staff are an absolute pleasure to deal with.....try them out you will not regret it. In todays stressful world to find a company like JD Kustom is so refreshing.

Great service and customer experience, I highly recommend a visit to JD Kustom and if JD is in be sure to say hi. The staff are all fantastic and will go out of their way to assist you. Don't just take my word, try them out and experience first class treatment yourself...

This is a shout-out to Christo, Director of the "Electronic Department" and his team with JD Kustom... the proud slogan of the company, "Passion Done Professionally" is all to true... I've been taking instruments for service and electronic gear for repair and maintenance to JD's workshop for over 15 years. They certainly live up to their reputation and deliver top quality work, at a high standard and with a friendly service. My reason for making this particular review is to draw attention to the fact that its easy to fly the flag high when things are going well, and the "weather is sweet" but it is only when there are storms, adversity and complications that the true character of an organisation or a person really come out. I brought our studio Presonus AR16 digital desk and mixer in for a service of 3 channels... what should have been a straightforward procedure turned into a complicated problem with the desk's effects module and Bluetooth unit cutting out. The situation proved to be an anomaly that even the Presonus RSA agents were unable to resolve. Through all of this, Christo kept trying to find a solution, having taken the desk in for additional diagnosis at his own expense, and JD Kustom covered the extra costs. After 3 months of struggle, detailed investigation and much "back-and-forth" the desk was mostly back to full operational capability. Even the agent could not explain how or why the effects module would no longer work... Christo was not prepared to just let his go,so using his expertise and contacts in the industry, he cleverly figured out a viable "workaround" solution, and went as far as to supply us with an external effects unit so that we can now run effects on the mixer through an auxi****y channel. To me this is a rock-solid and bulletproof testimony of the character, integrity and perseverance of Christo, and of course the JD Kustom team. Heaven forbid that something like this happen with a job that you bring in, but here is evidence that whatever the problem, however difficult the situation, JD Kustom delivers. No question, no compromise.... it will be sorted out. So apart from the fact that the entire team are just downright decent guys, they conduct themselves according to the old-school principles of Integrity and Honour.... sadly a rare thing in these times, but like gold, it is always valuable, durable and lasting, whenever and wherever you are fortunate enough to find it. To conclude, let me put it to you quite simply: They just are the best at what they do. No point going anywhere else... ------------------{mike drop*}-------------------------------------

Took in my unit on the 11th of Feb 2025, told about the waiting period (up to 21days), today’s date is 17 April 2025, my unit remains not assessed. R500 booking fee paid, with a promise of my unit checked (assessed) and feedback given. No feedback was given, I mostly had to write emails demanding information. The only thing i was being told is the symptom i provided when i brought in the unit. Collected my unit today (17/04/25), technicians did not even know how to analyse my unit or how it functions. Technicians also confirmed that my unit was never opened. While being assisted, attention was moved from me to the other customer that arrived after me I wouldn’t advise anyone who loves their units to take them there! JOB CARD NO. E34503
