Poor service and back up from Jex and Jonathan.
Reasonable installation done, they did come back and fix some glaring issues (Safety related), however after sales service and honoring of warranty practicality non existent. Jonathan just hides away and never returns calls, poor poor form dude, the rest just bleat hollow promises and never actually follow up. If you want a peace of mind system people, definitely look elsewhere, many better companies exist.

Really Poor Service and Empty Promises
Service is really poor after 6 weeks of constantly having to ask for feedback. They rather refunded my money. Wasted 6 weeks of my time after paying in full immediately. Poor Poor Service. Please think twice before using these guys Some detail as my Google review never had all the facts: 8th March I asked for a quote Followed up on 13th April Quote Arrived 17th Apri Paid immediately Followed up on week 3 Then week 4 11th May you sent a message guaranteed install next week. That did not happenOn Tuesday 23rd May I followed up again. Then you asked what roof I had.Telling me you have never ordered anything. 25th May you told me you coming today which you never did. After I told you your service was poor. You wanted to refund me. Again shows me you had no intention to install this week and probably next week

No after sales support.
This company does not provide after sales support. I have installed a 3 phase victron system with this company. This company wanted to ensure that the installation is simple for them. I have 4 spare conduits from my DB box going upstairs to the roof. They were not willing to go into roof to check if these conduits can be used. They started their installation and placement in order to take the cables outside and surface mount on the walls. In order to not cause any more friction I accepted this installation. I decided to install Solar on all 3 phases, yet they complained to balance my DB board for effective use, making me feel as if they were doing me a favour. Their decision to install all the panels on one roof was not correct, by 2 PM I start getting a waning sun. I approached them on a couple of occasions in order to optimise the panel location. They were non responsive.

Great After Sales Service
I received great after sales service from Jex Energy. They were always there to help during load-shedding and always very pleasant to deal with. Quick turn-around time and very professional service

Great Service | Solar Installation
Had a very good experience dealing with Jex Energy. They were efficient with their delivery and installation and kept all their promises (which is rare from service providers these days). I would highly recommend them

Superb After Sales Service
I'd reached out to a number of Solar/Energy companies and there is no doubt that Jex Energy gave me the most honest advice. They designed a brilliant modular system that I have just recently expanded upon. Their after sales service is also superb. I've had the setup working for two months and it's worked superbly during the latest load shedding. Jonathan is always there to help and there is nothing they won't do to ensure a happy customer

I have had a few issues with the Goodwe equipment in last 18 months, however an inverter was promptly changed out under warranty after 6 months, and the rest have been setting problems, which Nick has always come out and sorted. Huge savings on my electricity account, and we never notice the Eskom outages, due to the installed battery pack. Well done so far Jonathan and team.
