Complaint
I took my car in for panelbeating and they quoted me for battery, fanbelt and tensioner pulley. And they replace all that. And I fetched the car. In the following morning when I was starting the car there was a terrible sound coming from the bornet and when I was checking it I found the new fanbelt in pieces. And now they don't want to assist and claiming is the car problem, while they are the ones who changed those part

Shocking service
What an absolutely disgusting nightmare dealing with JL Panelbeaters WHO used to be... one of the best Panelbeaters on the SOUTH COAST. On 5th of July my car was taken to JL Panelbeaters, it is N O W 3 MONTH'S LATER!!! And my insurance company is continuously fighting with them over bad workmanship. See my previous review. This time eventually after they had a SPECIALIST coming to Margate to do the paint job for the 4th time!!!! They then polished it to much on one tiny tiny spot. BUT it is going to RESULT in rust. ALSO WAS THE RADIO AERIAL *****ED OUT and they admit!!They removed it as a precaution measure not to get damaged. BUT NOW nobody know where the aerial is. They also DID NOT REPLACE a bracket between 2 panel's that got damaged while my car was with them. Really I'm still deciding is it incompetence or NO PROUD of jobs done or the classic example... thinking old pensioner ladies who has grey hair are dumb and a walk over. My insurance company is just as shocked as I am. If I had a husband who took my car back after the first shoddy job.. I guarantee there was no further complications down the line. So I decided it's disrespect because I am a single grey hair pensioner lady. Sadly this is a reality with more than one business on the South Coast. They have NO IDEA of the inconvenience their actions holds for single pensioners.

Disgusting Liars and service
IS there a ZERO star option NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO JL PANELBEATERS IN MARGATE MANABA. I took my car there 6 weeks!!! Ago...for MINOR scratches and a strip on the door and beading to be fixed. 3 W E E K S later after lot of fighting and promise 5-8 days!! I got my car back ABSOLUTE DISASTER. THE BONNET was damaged, did not close properly, on the side where there was no damage there was red paint, overplayed not polished, the 2 side panels were in tact and was now loose and had a gap...the strip on the door looked like a grade 1 kid applied it... paint on the bonnet was little holes like needles and pins in what looked like cellulite. Somebody must have had lunch in my car fatty spots all over. Looked like soda running over the dash. White paint when drivers door was opened. The rubber if the door was totally skew and a list to long to continue. I called them and ALEX said to me don't you raise your voice with me THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR CAR I PERSONALLY SIGNED IT OFF. WHEN MY insurance company INSTRUCTED him to take a courtesy car and collect my car the list they admitted was so long their was not enough space on the form to write it. Another lie another promise I'll have my car on a week, did not happen, they tell one lie on the other, different stories to me and the insurance company. Going 6 weeks now I am still without my car. I am not allowed to see my car and I am not interested in any fur the lies. BOTTOM LINE N E V E R TAKE YOUR CAR TO JL PANELBEATERS MARGATE/MANABA. LIARS LIARS AND BAD WORKMANSHIP. Opinions changed fast about THIS car signed of there is nothing wrong....now there us SI MUCH DAMAGE IRS GONNA TAKE 4 weeks The price you pay for incompetence and not incapable to do it right the first time.

What a disgrace
My mother took her car in to be fixed as a private job by Avi at JL Panelbeaters. Firstly, he wanted to charge more than the agreed quotation, then, he made lame excused as to why it took 10 days to fix a small repair. Only to find out that Avi used the vehicle to travel around without consent of my mother and put on 1000+ kms on her vehicle. This is an absolute disgrace
